oh thank GOD!  I feared James was being released from jail and might find Edward!! I'm glad the cops shot him - I wish they'd shot his peen off, the fucker!! >:<  I hope that soon, the devil comes to take him to hell and his passing gives Edward some relief!  I understand why they didn't tell Edward he was out of jail - who needs that spectre looming under the bed?!?  I hope that wherever he runs to, Bella is able to chase him and hold him. (like I wanna!) Poor Damagedward!! :((((  I also feel for Carlisle and Esme, who just can't seem to catch a break with him. Carlisle is right - James still has enormous power over Edward, who could definitely use some coping skills.

Thank you for the update. Tell Edward I'm pulling for him!! it's time to move on - after he finds James' grave and pisses on it!

Okay, so I am being lazy and asking this through a review instead of going back and reviewing previous chapters - hopefully you will forgive me for being lazy and pity me with an answer :)  When/how did Victoria name come up before this chapter?  I don't remember the reference.

By the way, another great chapter - well written and heart tucking as usual!

Author's Response: Thank you! And Victoria was first mentioned in chapter 15, when Emmett and Alice were discussing the argument between Edward and Carlisle. A asks E what it was about and E says, quote: "Something about that woman, Victoria."

Yikes! That was definitely not what I expected - not that I really had many ideas to begin with - but I wish it could help Edward relax a little. Maybe once he calms down he'll see it as a good thing? I want him to just go ahead and tell Bella already, even though I know he won't, just because he'll realize she really trustworthy or atleast I hope so. I just can't picture Bella running away if he tells her about his past.
