Another perfect chapter. It's nice to see some positive movement forward for Edward even though he has such a long way to go. I am amazed at how well you are handling the topic of child abuse - which is not easy to do. The conversations between Edward & Bella are so poignant. Thank you again for being brave & writing this story. I get so excited to see that you've posted an update.

The horrible mental pathways Edward was forced to travel down, somehow more damaging even than the physical. How do you stop your thoughts returning to the well worn groove of self hate? Edward needs to carve some happy patterns. Lots of them, to obliterate the hurt. You are so brave to take this subject on. It's such a difficult and emotional one.

YAY!! A break through. So did his mother die? Or did James get out of prison? I think it's the latter. No wonder Edward is so scared and angry. His tormentor is set free and could find him and possibly hurt him again. Even though he is older and stronger now being in the presence of an abuser could make him go right back to that place in his mind of being a child that's trapped.
I feel for those people who has that monster in their lives and for the people who try to help heal them. What a place to be in so dark and desperate. God bless them.

OMG i freakin love you :D you are brilliant and i soooooo cant wait i love that bella didnt leave when she was told and that esme even stood up for her carlisle really is irritating and i know he is only doing it to be a good father but still :( i feel so bad for edward and im sooooo glad that he is going to talk to bella :D and that he was ok with her rubbing his back :D i cant wait for more doll you are brilliant :D love this story sooooo much :D

Your story is intensely emotional. You have captured the life long pain, agony, and shame abuse victims are charged to bare and remember. But you have beautifully coupled that with kindness and hope. I hope you update soon. It's awesome!

Oh my! What a chapter this was. Finally, it looked like Edward would open up and talk to Bella. And then, horror of horrors, the chapter was over! Needless, to say I can't wait for the next update! I am loving this story!

I feel so bad for Edward he really doesn't know how to work out is anger in a more constructive way. But I'm really hoping that Edwards does open up to Bella and tells her everything so he can start moving past it and hopefully le Bella love him.
