I've been reading this story for a few weeks now, having skimmed through the beginning chapters a bit, and then following updates, but it's time to read this story from the beginning to the latest chapter, really. I know by now that it's very much worth the read, so, that's what I'm doing now. ^^

omg finally i got to read my update :D this was amazing my dear i was just sooooo surprised at the interaction between emmett and edward and i love that alice was trying to beat emmett down with a spatula haha that just seems classic to me haha you are brilliant and i hope to never have to combined two chapter reviews in one again :( that i just get to read them as they come :D i cant wait for more to see if chose to bring flowers and how the date and meeting charlie went :D Incredible :D

Great Chapter! I know this might sound cheesy, but every chapter is a growing experience for them and it's very profound.
I just wanted to let you know that recently a blog has been put together called `The Taste On My Tongue` and a group of us are putting the finishing touches on it. Us as mods on the website have to pick a completed fiction to write a review on, and then a WIP fic to write a review on.
I just wanted to let you know that I have personally picked your WIP fiction, and I have been writing a review on it. Great one of course ;) We have our first meeting this friday and the reviews will be posted on the site and a notice goes out to the authors who we chose to write a review, letting them know where to find it.
This is one massive review, but again, great job on this story Nilla!

for some reason I didn't realize this story was out there until last night...read the whole thing in one sitting. Love how you are tackling the subject of abuse...heartwrenching, but wonderfully done. Edward is so vulnerable, so dead inside. An interesting way to connect to the series. I just found this last night - I'm not entirely sure HOW lol I don't remember but it is WONDERFUL!! I read all 32 chapters today during downtime at work (it was that good!) and I literally shouted NO and put my head on the desk when I got to the end. I got some strange looks lol

awww...how sweet is emmett. i knew the boy had it in him deep down inside....way way deep but still there. he did the whole big brother thing in his own style & to use a cheesy oft used expression "made it his own"....yep sounds cheesy as heck but it is right. i got all warm n fluffy thiking of emmett before i was like whoa....edward!! wat's up with rose & him....hope they get back together soon. eager to read more.

Awwww Emmett being all sweet to Edward and giving him some brotherly advice. You painted the best mental image when you described Alice threatening to beat Emmett with a spatula if he came upstairs to bother their brother. *LOL*
Can't wait to see how Edward continues to handle the countdown to the big 'date' and importantly, how he's going to deal with introducing himself to Charlie.

It was nice to have a chapter that wasn't totally angsty :) Also very sweet to see some somewhat "normal" conversations between Edward & Emmett. Maybe a bit of a breakthru there? Edward still has so far to go but these babysteps are so gratifying to read.

Really great chapter! I love Emmett and Alice giving little tips to Edward lol it was cute. I am really like Em being nicer to Edward and the whole flower article was great. I cant wait to see what happens next...if Edward picks out a special flower to give to Bella. Thanks so much for the fast update! Love this story so much. Its really beautiful. Cant wait for more :)

I really love this story. Read it faithfully everytime you update, so I was just wondering, When are they finally going to go on their date? I mean we know Edward is nervous and charlie wants to meet him so why did we get another chapter with basically the same info as the past 2 or 3?? Everytime I see you updated I keep thinking yay their date finally but then nope just another filler chapter??? Please don't get me wrong this is one of my favorite stories on here but I am just getting alittle inpatient I guess :) till next chapter hopefully it will finally be there date
Author's Response: Well, to be honest, nothing will ever be rushed in this story. It may seem like the progress is slow, but I feel it's necessary. While I do see your point, I don't see the things leading up to the date as filler, it's all important for the story. You're going to need a lot of patience. ;) But the date will happen, I promise. Ok..... Ok now that I'm better I think I can say I like the chapter a lot, I was scared there for a moment with Charlie's reaction but I think it can work, he can behave and Edward can endure 1 minute of saying hi, I'm so glad Bella told him about the 'hand-shacke' that's important hope he doesn't forget....
I'm so glad Edward is willing to do an effort, he knows Bella is worth it.... I'm also happy that Emmett and him are kind of 'bonding' in their weird kind of way and I'm still not convinced with the all 'flowers-for-date' thing..... maybe later but not now.... but oh well those are just my crazy toughts.... do whatever u please Nilla I will still love it :D

Awesome! I was hoping that Edward would try to open himself to the possibility of having a less antagonistic relationship with Emmett. Emmett could offer him so much as a male friend and as a brother.

I have to admit I am really pleased that there are finally some signs of family unity and friendship regarding Edward in the Cullen household. I really missed it. That bond is one of my favorite aspects of the cannon characters. Love the direction this is taking. Thanks for the post.
