Aww, so sweet. Not a bad thing for Edward, realising other people have troubled  pasts too (albeit not the severe kind he has). It might get him out of his shell.

I kept checking the computer on tuesday. My in-laws were visiting, so it was kind of awkward... Just explaining : I'm really glad you update so often. I'm simply getting spoiled. Great writing !

Once again great chapter. Poor Bella! I hope Edward is going to be there for her, like she has been for him.

I love the intensity in each one of the three scenes.  Poor Edward, to be carrying around all the rage.  And poor Bella, to be attacked like that--that hurts!

This story is truly heartwrenching.  I want so badly for Edward to get over the horrors in his past and everytime he has any breakthough I feel touched by his pain and Bella's selflessness.

Great chapter! I really liked that Edward kinda talked with Esme about what happened with Bella finding out. I loved that, it was nice to see him open up a little with her. And poor Bella i cant even imagine how she must feel now that she knows, it would make me physically sick too. Great writing! Thanks for the update! Cant wait to see what happens next!

I liked the quote from Twilight.  Poor Edward, I can understand why he wouldn't want to tell Bella about the worst that James did to him.  Adult survivors have a really hard time with that, never mind a teenage boy.  It is such a big part of who he is that he doesn't have much choice if he wants to have a relationship with her.  This story is deeply moving.

You really make us care about Edward's pain.  I really like your writing.  Thank you.

Wow!  I have been engrossed in reading this story for the past several hours.  I want to say that I love your writing style.  I also want to thank you for being able to use your 'emotional thermometer' in writing about the characters.  While abuse of any kind it difficult, I find that in a lot of writing that authors feel that it is difficult to express the horror of an act without having to go into extreme detail to get the emotions across.  But, I want to say that I think you do a brilliant job in this.  I can see why someone suggested this story to me, and I look forward to more updates as they come out.  

Oh, and I have no problem with the length of your chapters.  To me, length isn't as important as the quality of the writing and substance.  And since, in my book, you fulfill both, I enjoy what you give....short or long.
