I think maybe this is just what Edward needs; to be able to reach out to actually help someone else. Sometimes helping to heal someone else ends up healing yourself. Great writing.

I knew it was just a matter of time before Bella fell apart. Poor thing; I hope Edward can comfort her throught this. It would probably do him a world of good to be there for her and be her strength for a change. You rock, Nilla. I am alway's absolutely thrilled to see an update. How does Carlisle, a doctor, accept Edward smoking? And no doubt Edward would have started smoking living with Carlisle? It seems too much of an anomaly. Loving this story btw

oh fantastic stuff, i love this story, its a total role reversal for edward and bella she is now the one in need of understanding and care, and give edward his dues he stepped up to give it to her despite all his issues, i understand what phil is doing he's not a unreasonable man i just think bella never considered the fact that her childhood home would be gone anytime let alone soon, her mothers death is all too fresh in her mind, i hope edward can bring her some measure of peace as bella does to him, great stuff thanks tracy

Poor Bella, but letting Edward take care of her for a change is bound to make him feel better :).
Please don't feel you have to reply to any review I ever leave. I'm terrible at doing so (I may have replied when you reviewed mine, but I probably didn't). I never know what to say, and my theory is, we've already done our bit by spending hours writing something for others to read for free. I usually only reply to reviews individually if people say something I feel I specificly want to reply to, and I think people understand that!

I feel so bad for Bella too! I think Edward can help her as well, and maybe being sympathetic to her problems will help him understand her sympathy toward him and not mistake it for pity. Maybe he will finally realize that they both have something to give to eachother.

I'm really enjoying this story. Though, it's hard to read about this much self-flagellation without feeling horrible myself. (You might be able to tell, I get too into my books.) I like that Edward's starting to be able to help Bella too.
