Now here we come to an important revelation for Carlisle. A least, I think so. He just didn't see some of the misconceptions he was under. In all fairness, he's not a psychiatrist and he's probably too close to the situation to see the whole picture. I hope he is able to somewhat convince Edward that he is, in fact, loved and lovable.

What a sad chapter, Edward was so happy with Bella and then his self loathing comes out again. Carlisle was sad as well, I know what he means when he says he failed Edward. =( Looking forward to your next update! =)

Poor Edward. Hopefully Carlisle can help him and then Edward can go back to Bella and make up with her. I know he won't be better after one talk, but maybe he'll understand that he is loved and that others love him.

Oh wow...this chapter was just heartwrenching!  Poor Edward...and poor Carlisle, too, for that kind of realization - to realize that the boy you loved as your own son doesn't believe that you do.  I simply cannot wait for the next chapter!

Oh, and I just wanted to mention - you said in your review reply to me a few days ago that English is not your first language.  Seriously?  The fact that you've written such an amazing story - both content wise and technically - in a language that is not your mother tongue is incredible.  Your grasp of English is a lot better than many native speakers can claim (and I used to grade university student essays, so trust me, lol!).  Excellent story.

Gah...total heartbreak. Well,it had to happen sooner or later, this meltdown with the parents. Poor Carlisle; he is finally realizing that his passiveness all of these years hasn't helped Edward at all. And he does love him. I hope he can convince him of this. And as for Edward and Bella...yikes...I feel so bad for Bella. She must know he is just confused, and it doesn't mean Edward doesn't love her back, right? At least to the degree he understands. Ah...excuse me while I lie down in a dark room somewhere and cry and moan and generally wail. :(
