Ooh, has Edward shown up on her doorstep? Great chapter Nilla, the conversation with Carlisle broke my heart and poor Edward; the more flashbacks I see the more I just want to hunt James down (and Elizabeth) and tear them limb from limb. The horrors he has seen are unimaginable.
I'm glad Bella isn't going to run. It would do more harm than good, in my opinion, if she left without telling him -- I think that just might break lonerward beyond repair thinking the only person he can really trust left him.
Again, great work Nilla; I cannot wait for the next chapter. :)

Aww...this chap actually made me like Carlisle! :D He did so well while he was talking to Edward. That was a really sweet heart to heart :)
Poor Bella, she never thinks about herself she just focuses on what Edward needs. I'm really happy Edward took the initiative to go see Bella this time (at least that better be who's at Bella's house! :D)

EPOV was heartbreaking. I really felt for Carlisle. I am really enjoying this story, you do a very good job of not letting your characters head into melodrama.
I am hoping that it is Edward at the door.

Poor Edward. He is having such horrible flashbacks, and I wonder if Carlisle realizes he's having flashbacks. Or does he think it's fear that makes him react that way? I would hate to be in Carlisle's place right now. The realization of how he has failed with Edward is a bitter pill for a parent to swallow. In a lot of ways it's a worst nightmare come true. At least for me it is.
Poor Bella! Of course she second guesses everything she does with him, I would too. It's so much pressure on her.

Is it too much to hope for that Edward is there to see her? That's what I'd like to see happen but I have a feeling it will be Carlisle there to give her reassurance and remind her of her promise to stick by Edward.
I just love this story... I always walk away from each chapter just wanting to hug Edward.

that was totally evil. Don't take too long before the next update. The interaction between Carlise and Edward in this chapter was very well written and I think necessary to helping Edward move along.

Oh that cliffie was just EVIL!!! Poor Edward and bella. I really feel so bad for both of them in different ways. The way you wrote Edward's reactions to the stress were perfect and realistic. God I hope it's him at the door, but I'm not sure. You've given us plenty to think about on the thread. It was great. Thanks as always.

That was an evil cliffy! But I really enjoyed the conversation and interaction between Carlisle and Edward. I think that it was so important for both of them. And I am really, really hoping that it's Edward who has come to see Bella. Soooo...any way we can find out soon? Really soon? Pretty please? :)

Who is there to see her? Is it Edward? Or is it another Cullen? A cruel cliffie.... Great chapter tho. I know I say this every review but I love this story it has just the right mix of realism,anst, romance & drama. You are such a good writer.
