I am completely enthralled. And cringing at bit at times. I live with a history of abuse - not sexual thankfully and it makes me see red when it happens. So this pushes a lot of buttons. Want to hunt down James and bring back the Tudor punishment for traitors!
Please don't take this as a negative critique of your story. You've done a wonderful job. If it wasn't difficult to read then you'd be glossing it over, making light of something that isn't. Also, I knew what it was about going in.
As I'm reading this from start to finish, I'm unlikely to review each chapter. I always picture the writer rolling their eyes at 30 something new reviews.....But I will here and there. Truly well done.

That was an awesome chapter! It is heartbreaking everytime I see Edward so fragile. Bella is a godsend, I only hope that he doesn't push her away. Great job!

I started reading this after you already had about 30 or so chapters posted. I'm not even going to guess what you have in store for these two to get them to a good place. Edward has lived through unimaginable tortures in his short life. He needs to feel himself to be worth something and obviously Bella is the key. Him being worth something to her. She has shone him her caring and strength and I think it will benefit him to be there for her in a similar way. Once he sees and understands that he makes a difference in her life and she needs him, I think, he'll be more likely to embrace therapy so he can be better for himself and for Bella as well as his family.

Awww! So sweet! I love the progress Edward is making. I am glad he let Carlisle in a little as well. Oh, and kudos to Charlie! Few parents would have walked away without saying anything. I suppose though that Charlie knows all about his past and understands how monumental this all is.

AMAZING chapter!!!!! I loved the convo between Bella and Edward! So glad it was him that showed up, eventhough I had a feeling it would be lol They both are so lukcy to have eachother, they need one another. I cant tell you enough how much I truly love this story, it brings me to tears everytime, whether its tears of sadness or happiness. Its truly moving.
