This chapter made me so happy because it really seems as though Edward is beginning to think that maybe - just maybe - he isn't the bad person James made him believe he was after all; but I know it will still be a long, difficult road for him. Esme, who is so sweet and loving and maternal, made me cry. Your beautiful writing and this story is just wonderful and emotive, and I can never get enough. Thank you so much!

Still having a stupid grin on my face :) I'm glad Charlie didn't give Edward a hard time, and that he is actually accepting the fact that Bella has a boyfriend. And Edward seems to be making even more progress. Perhaps he will let Esme hug him soon? Thanks for another lovely chapter.

Yay!!! Loneward is making tons of progress!!! No Edward!!! You aren't bad!!!! FINALLY he is embracing, or at least considering, the truth!!!! I love this story like a fat boy loves cake!!!
Just some quick questions though, is Jacob going to enter this story at any point? I obviously know this is an Edward/Bella story, but will Jacob be put in it? Also do know how many more chapters are left before you are done? Not that I ever want this story to end, but I will like the chance to mentally prepare myself for when the story is closing up. Oh and the last question is will this story have a sequel following it? It seriously shoud! I love Loner!!!!
Author's Response: Thank you for your review, I'm so happy you love my story. As for your questions. Since I don't want to spoil you or anyone else with what's going to happen, I can't tell you whether or not Jake will appear in the story. Hope you understand. I don't know how many chapters are left, but the story is far from being over. I'll let you all know in the A/N when it's about to close up. I really don't think there will be a sequel. However, I plan to post a series of outtakes when the story is complete. Hope that answers some of your questions, and thanks again for reviewing! :)

It is actually exciting to see Edward starting to doubt his belief he is bad. I wonder if he realizes the changes he's already made to his parents? I doubt he would have sat down with Esme before Bella came along. I doubt he would have opened up that little bit.

Loved it as usual!! It seems like everyone's words of comfort and insistence that none of what happened to Edward was his fault is starting to sink in. I'm so glad he's making progress. Now if only he would go back to counselling with a decent therapist...

FINALLY, he's finally letting Bella's words sink in his head! YAY! He has years worth of brainwashing by James to undo, and it's going to be a slow process, but it is very hopeful to see that Bella has already done so much in a short amount of time. Great story, great writing, can't wait for more!

This story is heartbreaking, but unfortunately too many bear these scars. Thank you for writing and publishing it. I'm very hopeful of the ending, though I imagine there will be many more bumps along the way. I'm looking very forward to the next chapter.
