Awww OMGosh this was so touching and so emotional! I swear everytime I read a chapter i always end up crying in a good or bad way lol The way you write Edward and his thoughts are just so WOW i cant even describe it. Its so heart breaking yet so heart warming all at once. Bellas love for him is incredible and very inspiring to read. This is such a sad yet touching story.  Thank you writing and for the regular upates.

My heart just breaks to pieces for Edward.  He's been through so much but when he shows his sweet caring side to Bella it makes me feel like their is still hope for him, that James didn't destroy everything that was good and innocent inside him.

I do have a question about James' motivation to abuse Edward. Was he a sexual deviant who enjoyed sex with little boys?  Or was it more like a rapist who is in it for the power and control more so than the actual sex itself?  I believe it to be the latter but just looking for clarification.

I'll never understand why or how adults could want to inflict such pain on someone so innocent as a child.   Or how a parent such as Edward's mother can sit idly by and let it happen even as messed up as she was, Edward should have been precious to her.  There are so many things in this world you have to pass a test for or get a license for  but being a parent isn't one of them.  I know it's unrealistic to impose such things but at the very least a manditory class would be nice.

As for James' motivation, well, there will be no getting into his head in this story, I could never write his pov, it would just be too disturbing. However, the way I see it, it was all about control, like you say. I'm leaving the rest up to the readers imagination. Although there will be more flashbacks, so you will get a little more info eventually. Thanks again!

Can I say how heartbreaking it is to witness Edward's meltdown? We all knew this day would come, but to witness it is like watching it really happen. You bring such life and depth to these characters, Nilla, it's amazing! Phew..don't know what to think about Edward's future; he needs ALOT of therapy. Have a wonderful weekend, girl!

Ugh. So heartbreaking! Poor Edward. Poor Bella. Poor everyone! I hope Alice really understood. It's hard to get a real grasp on where she stands on her feelings of Edward sometimes. I wonder if she's jealous of all the attention he gets. I wonder how the trip to Phenoix will go for both E and B. I'm curious on how well E is gonna handle it. I'm thinking its not gonna go very well. I'm wondering when there is gonna be a breakthrough/catalyst for Edward to see that he needs to try to get some professional help soon. Obviously Bella isn't enough. He's got a lot of hurt he needs to work though.
