It's fabulous seeing Carlisle have some hope and positive reaction.

Love Bella protectiveness.

Little by little - bit by bit -- he is changing.  I like that there is a slow progression to this story.

Another great chapter!  You do such a great job of capturing the emotions of the character- even in the flashback it was easy to experience the disorientation and panic. And the characters react in a very realistic way, and very in-tune to their personalities.  I can't wait for more, and I am glad Bella is finally going to hear the full story!

OMG, I'm gonna have to get a full box of tissues, aren't I?  I think I'm going to have to do some meditation to hear Edward's story  and maybe a few sleeping pills of my own after.

 

One part of this chapter I loved the most was Edward crawling up and cuddling beside Bella with his head on her chest.  I found that to be so touching and so telling of the level of trust Edward has in her.

Oh, very interested to hear the full story, but I'm hoping that hearing it through Carlisle will be les traumatic...

I was so glad to see your update this morning. I can never seem to get enough of this beautiful, heartwrenching story. While I'm dreading what Carlisle has to tell Bella about Edward's childhood, I am hoping it will help her better understand him, and also bring them closer together. While my heart aches for Edward, it also breaks for Alice. Her special night with Bella - her entire life, really - has to revolve around what is good or not good for Edward, and I can't imagine how difficult and emotionally frustrating that must be, even as good and generous a person as she is. I am very curious to see what happens next. (Okay, I'll be biting my nails until your next post! Please hurry!) :) Thank you so much!

I'm glad Edward let them fix his hand, and he sure needs a full night's sleep. But I'm a little worried about how Bella will react when she hears the whole story... I really do hope it won't make a difference, that she will still be there for Edward afterwards. Bella leaving him would probably be the worst thing that could happen right now. They're making such progress and are so cute together that I don't want anything to ruin it for them.

I really loved this chapter though :)

I heart the Bella & Carlisle conversation :) Perhaps not so much next update because I'm sure Bella's going to hear some things about Edward's past that will make her want to cry for everything he's gone through as a child; but I thought it was such a great indication of Edward's trust in both Carlisle & Bella that he'd allow his father to speak about his past when he just can't himself.

I can totally understand Bella's question to Carlisle as to whether Edward can ever truly get over the abuse - the change in Edward's demeanor and trust is signficant so it's only natural that they want to be closer together eventually but Bella's going to worry endlessly about pushing him too far too fast.

Cannot wait for the next update :)

I have been hoping and waiting for Edward to start building relationships with his family...Yay :)  I know there is still a long road ahead, but yay anyway :)
