I feel almost sick to read this, that Edward doesn't feel he can be loved....oh god, I hate James and if he's not dead yet I will personally go and take him down myself. And now Carlisle struggling to tell Edward his emotions....I'm not doing so good with this chapter.

I'm glad Bella had her reaction to the news in the privacy of her room....if she had reacted this way in front of Edward, I'm sure that would have reinforced and devastated him. She has to stay strong for the both of them or this will never work.

Really powerful chapter, Edward letting part of himself go for the first time with Bella. Letting her in....that's so hard when you feel scared so good for Edward that he felt brave enough to do that.

Oh this one is a toughie to read.....none of it is real until Edward acknowledges what has happened to him----he and Bella can deal with this as long as they are both honest with each other.

It was interesting and good that Edward found out about Emmett and why he ended his relationship with Rose. I am glad that Bella confided her feelings in Edward. It was wonderful to see him take care of someone else.

Freesia is such a beautiful and fragrant flower....but I don't know its meaning or that of any other flowers. Nice of Emmett to share his flower knowledge with Edward.....only add points, right?? lol Edward also did well with Charlie...no tremors or passing out, our boy is gaining more confidence every day with the help of Bella.

I really hope Emmett isn't terribly mad at Bella. She's only trying to help Edward. At some point, I'm wondering if Bella isn't going to have to use a little tough love with Edward instead of handling him with almost kid gloves. As a mother, I'm really beginning to feel the worst for Esme, who just wants to be able to give her son a hug. Absolutely love your story. Really.

Ah Emmett is such a sweetheart, I sensed that much earlier on when Bella seemed to take a more critical view of him. I think he is most loyal to Edward and would defend him to the death. And he is his brother, most of all.
