BRAVO bb!! I am on the anti New Moon train with you for sure. You scared the piss out of me for a minute. I was hyperventilating right along with Bella. And I am the same I would have stopped reading until you made it better..lol. SO glad you're not going down that road. It's not necessary....like ever...lol. This story is brilliant and I feel them working together with a therapist is much more realistic. It's such a moving story. I can't rave about it enough. I rec it to everyone I know.

THANK FRIGGIN YOU! Finally! Edward is manning up and facing his demons WITH her for a change. Amen to that. I agree. Edward leaving does not always make for a good storyline and I think a lot of other authors just use it as an excuse not to be creative about making up some sort of dramatic event for the couple on their own.
I was waiting for it to come in this fic and I am SO happy that it won't~

Nilla! You are so great! That is one of, if not the biggest, pet peeves of stories- the pulling of a New Moon. I do the same thing, skip/skim the chapters till E and B are back together.
Just wanted to say, again, that I love the pacing of Loner and how Edward and Bella are not just magically fixed, Its being shown that healing is a process...
The title Loner refers to Edward, at least that is what I assumed, but for some reason for me right now its connecting more to Bella. As I was reading, it become more clear the niche that they fill for each other, and the possibility of a New Moon really drove to me how dependant Bella has become on Edward, and if she didn't have him- how she could have been? Not sure, just rambling on. Great update!

Just wanted to let you know that your story is great and kudos to you for writing about such a complicated and delicate subject. I totally agree with you about New Moon. The first time I read the book I actually skipped over the part when Edward was gone and read the last part. I went back after and read about Bella and Jacob. Team Edward all the way!!!!!

Holy CRAP! I hope Edward doesn't go all new moon and break up with Bella to protect her. I think that would break my heart into a million pieces! I love this story. It just grips my heart and I have just fallen in love with all of the characters!

I wonder if it would help Edward if he had a peer or mentor that had been through a similar situation to talk to. You know, gain some perspective on the fact that nobody deserves what he went through and he didn't do anything wrong from somebody who has lived it. I feel like Edward is right on the cusp of something big and he could go one way or the other. One way being breaking, mending, and gaining strength to overcome. The other being breaking and closing himself off even more than before.

Great story. I have to say I LOVED reading the cookie fiasco bit a couple chapters back. I literally laughed out loud- it was so good!
I have a feeling that this event was a turning point in edward's road to recovery. I was not expecting him to call esme and carlisle- i was expecting bella so that was a surprise! But i feel that because he's taken that step to contact them, he might be getting very close to willingly go to therapy.
can't wait until next update

I am glad he went back and I hope that they all can talk this out he has to know that his feelings are off base that it is okay to want Bella even though the things he went through are difficult he is strong and he will be okay
