This chapter was so touching. This family is so real. You write from the heart, Nilla. Thank you again for this wonderful story; for giving them time; for your realistic and sensitive portrayal of their lives. Edward and his family, and of course Bella, have come so far. This could not have been an easy journey for you as an author, but it was an organic journey for your readers. I'm glad they're all able to open up to each other more now, they're really making progress. And it was really unexpected to find out that about Esme. You expect her and Carlisle to have been so happy all the time, so it really was a surprise. I'm sorry to hear that this story will soon be finished, it's been a great read despite the difficult subject.

Wow... what a great chapter. I feel terrible for bella though... she goes from being the only one in the family to be there for him to being left out of family gatherings... has to be hard. She just missed the whole breakthrough... would be pretty hard to hear

Its great that he has finally be able to tell them that he cares, even tell Esme that he loves her. It's good for them to be able to communicate and open up. I'm glad that he's seeing that its ok to open up to people its not a burden but a way of letting go of the pain. thanks for the update.
