Also, Alice's makeup-fairies are awesome, and I kind of literally cheered aloud when she told Carlisle what was going on. Excellent.

Yeah, this would be a REALLY bad place to leave us hanging for long. Amazing chapter, as usual. I love and hate how quickly things are moving now. Love because, well it's a fantastic story and I'm glad that Bella didn't manage to keep her secret any longer than was believable. I'm also glad you didn't make everyone into an idiot just to drag out the tension (e.g. having Alice decide to keep this from her dad, etc). Sad because I'm pretty sure this is the climax of the story, which means the end will be lurking around the next several corners....though if you wanted to keep it going indefinitely, you wouldn't hear complaints from me.
All of that is moot, though, because of this INSANE mother-of-all-cliffhangers you're leaving us with so please, please, please update soon.
Author's Response: The chapter is done and sitting in the queue for validation right now, so it will hopefully be really soon. I felt bad when I did it, but it really couldn't have been any other way. Leave it to you to think this was the climax, since that was how I had originally planned it, but I've since changed my mind. The end is quite a ways off, so don't worry. You'll have this story for awhile yet. Thanks again for another great review.

Gosh, I don't know how to feel about this chapter. I am so glad that Alice knows Bella's secret now and can hopefully help her. I am very worried about Charlie's reaction to whatever happens. I'm not worried about Edward's reaction as far as Bella goes but I am worried he will act rashly and get hurt :( wow o wow what a chapter! Can't wait to find out what happens next!

This is such a wonderful story. I like how Bella is numb to feelings. how edward was different from the beginning and how alice is now breaking down the barrier. I was terrified when alice was in the house, but she is one smart cookie for sure ... i know she will definitely figure something out ... i hope bella tells someone. esme could be her mother ... i cant wait to read edwards reaction. No one is to me like edward is to bella ... i have no one like edward for me ... so to read how some people care so much abut others ... well for a short while i can pretend im bella or whoever it is ... i can have an edward or a jasper or an emmett ... even a carlisle! and im excited to find out what tinker is going to come up with ... dont let her go home alice!!!!!

I'm glad you made Alice tell her that she can't keep that a secret, so many people in her position would and then go back on their word, at least Bella has a heads up that something is going to happen.

I love the story.
I hate Charlie. I am a social worker and work with abused kids. They need to report it so she can be removed from that ass! I hope he dies a painful death just like all child abusers should.....before they go to hell ((my little soap box rant).

Oh and I like that Alice found out first bc Edward would have tried to beat up Charlie from what he heard upstairs and the whole boy in the room would have been bad for Bella too.
