I'd say poor James, but I'm still hoping they screw up and drain him. It sounds like Aro isn't near as smart as he thought he was. Good.

Kill James!!

Author's Response: James will eventually be killed.  Thanks for reading.

I don't care what happens to James, but i have a feeling that it won't be good, I am sure he will still go after Bella even when he is changed.

Author's Response: Just keep reading and you will see.  Thanks for your comments.  I appreciate my readers.

OMG I can't believe you had them find him wanking! Too funny.

Author's Response: I couldn't resist--sorry.  I know it's probably poor taste, but I just couldn't help myself because I found it funny too.

Yaay! James is gone! *sings the James is gone song...which sounds suspiciously like "Ding dong the witch is dead!" and does the accompanying dance*

Lol...anywho...great chap...I really love this fic...can't wait for the next!

Author's Response:

Yes, James is gone, but not permanently.  Thanks for the compliments.

Well good riddance indeed!  I hope Aro loses patience with him and ends up draining him himself.  Of course Edward doesn't have that excuse anymore to stick to Bella like glue.  I'm curious about Bella's shocking poor Edward thing.  I bet that upsets her.

Author's Response:

Unfortunately, Aro does not drain James.  He does become a vamp.  The whole sticking like glue thing--working on that.  The shocking thing too.  Stick around and you'll see what happens.  Thanks for reading.

Poor Esme and Carlisle!  That wa unexpected-- Aro holding Esme prisoner.  Lovely little chapter here.

Aro as a freakin' Slytherin is hysterical!  LOL.  Silly old vampire.

Looking forward to more... :)

Author's Response: I'm glad that you liked my little curve ball about Esme.  Let's face it, Carlisle would never willingly participate in this unless he had a good reason.  Aro being Slytherin and loving Voldemort was fun to write.  He might be an evil creep, but he does have a tiny bit of humanity.  Thanks for the review, Ms. Shrew.

Author's Response: What didn't you like about the first chapter?  What did you like about the second and what about the third hooked you?  I'm just curious.  Thanks for your honest review.

Well it wasn't that I didn't like the first chapter, but like most first chapters, it was a set up to the rest of the story. I was also a little hesitant about the Harry Potter reference, thinking it may just be a stroy loosley based on thet one. Now that I've read through it though, I love the Harry Potter Reference. I think it's cute, especially whn Ginna is annoyed with Aro for not being able to put them down. I was cracking up!

The second chapter got me a little more interested becasue it explained a lot. Even though it was short, it gave the reader a great deal of knowledge about what was going on. By that point I realized that the story was unique and that the idea had great potential.

The third chapter hooked me becasue I thought you did a great job with the character interactions. I laughed at Alice, I cringed at James, and I swooned at Edward. Great job really.

I have to say that I'm enjoying your story immensely. I was wondering why Carlisle was helping Aro and you have everything working wonderfully together. I like how the pieces fit together perfectly. Also, I loved how Edward put James in his place. Lovely work. And now we know how James gets Bella. Aro really is a dumb ass, haha. I can't wait to read the next chapter. I love your story!

Author's Response: Thank you so much for explaining yourself.  I understand your hesitation, but it was never my intention to make this anything even slightly resembling HP.  I just wanted to pay tribute, but not use any part of that storyline.  I appreciate you!

I really liked this chapter.  Ugh of course James will now become a vampire and be an even bigger threat to Bella than before.  Stupid Aro.

I found it very funny that Aro is now obsessed with Harry Potter...that was cute.

I really enjoy your writing...it's great.

Keep it up! :)

Author's Response:

Thank you for saying you like my writing.  It makes my day.

Yep, James is trouble.

And Aro's obsession is my tribute to HP, my other favorite series.  Thanks for reading.

UGH... that evil, vile, bastard of a vampire! He is a true Slytherin... even more Slytherin-y and Voldemort-y than Voldemort himself! I hope the 7 of them discover what Aro's up to... wretched bastard.

Author's Response: That's part of the story.  It will take a while, but I'm sure they will figure out part of it.

Reviewer: hhawkes (Signed) · Date: October 28, 2008 12:47 AM · On: Chapter 12: Dealing with James

Aww...poor Carlisle. I wondered why he would do Aro's bidding and where Esme was.

Author's Response: Yeah.  Aro has him over a barrel, or so he thinks.  Thanks for reading.

great chapter!!! love this story!!

Author's Response: Thank you.

Reviewer: Sheeijan (Signed) · Date: October 27, 2008 04:33 PM · On: Chapter 12: Dealing with James

Oh, how sad!  It never even occurred to me to wonder where Esme was, I just assumed she was at home or something and didn't come to the school.  The bit about Harry Potter was hilarious, btw.

Author's Response:

Carlisle knows something is going on, but he doesn't understand the scope of it.  He knows the kids get changed, and he hates it, but Aro holds Esme, and so Carlisle participates because he doesn't see an alternative because he doesn't fully know what is going on.

I love HP and wanted to include it in some way into one of my stories as a tribute.  It just seemed to fit here.

You had me laugh out loud with Aro reading Harry Potter. Nice scarf *snort*

Author's Response: I thought it was funny.  He sort of reminds me of Dr. Evil from Austin Powers as he is trying to get in touch with the younger generation by looking at all things popular.  Aro is trying to get "hip and with it" so that he will seem more in touch with the newborns he plans to create.

James Gotta go good job I love it

Author's Response: Well, James is going, but not gone...

Reviewer: CapriciousC (Signed) · Date: October 27, 2008 03:48 PM · On: Chapter 12: Dealing with James

Oh no, they've got Esme!  I wondered why Carlisle would be participating in this, didn't seem like something he'd willingly get involved in.

This is such a great story!  The premise is so original, and has such incredible potential, which I think you are more than living up to!

James is skeevy.  Ick.  You write him really well, though - I understand his motivations even as they creep me out.

Author's Response: Thank you for the compliments.  You are very kind.  Thank you for reading.

Reviewer: melferd (Signed) · Date: October 27, 2008 02:56 PM · On: Chapter 12: Dealing with James

Great. I love Aro's logic, "Hum, let's take a sociopathic rapist and give him superpowers and a thirst for blood, 'cause what could possibly be wrong with this plan? Nope, no way this one can backfire and bite me on the ass...."

Clearly, Aro's never visited the evil overlord website.

And he makes a much more convincing monster than James...Harry Potter loving sicko! The fact that he loves Riddle makes it all the more fitting and funny.

Author's Response: Aro's power-hungry above all else.  He and Voldemort parallel each other in many ways.  I mean think of some of the dispicable characters in Voldemort's legion--Fenrir Greyback, Bellatrix Lestrange, for example.  Aro doesn't mind changing a sicko as long as he can control them, and he has this nutty idea that he can.

Yummmm... Bad-ass Edward!

I noticed that Edwards last name keeps going from Brandon to Cullen to Brandon again... :)

Author's Response: Yikes!  Sorry.  I'll find the descrepency.  Thanks for catching that.  He is Brandon, for now.  It's so hard to break a habit like that, since we all know him as Edward Cullen.  Thanks!

Bad-Ass Edward is awesome lol

Author's Response: I kinda like him too.  Thanks.

i like bad-ass Edward too!  I hope he keeps showing up.  And Jasper being excited makes me excited too :)

Author's Response: Oh, b.a. Eddie is going nowhere.  Glad you like Jasper.

Way to go Edward!!

Author's Response: He's really cool, isn't he?  Glad you like him and thanks for the review.

Reviewer: Sheeijan (Signed) · Date: October 20, 2008 08:03 AM · On: Chapter 11: Safety Precautions

Ugh, James is so horrible - a rapist has no sympathy from me!  Anyway, I'm now extremely curious on what Bella's power is going to be.  And bad-ass Edward is always a good thing.

Author's Response: Yeah.  I don't want anyone to have any sympathy for James, even if he is trying to be a little better to get Bella.

Reviewer: Morgan (Signed) · Date: October 20, 2008 07:48 AM · On: Chapter 11: Safety Precautions

Cool, cool, cool. I love this story.

Author's Response: Thank you and I'm glad that you like it.
