The best thing about this chapter was meeting Alice.   How tricky the pixie was in getting Edward out of the room and locking the door.   She seemed genuinely happy that Edward was dating one girl consecutively. 

Okay well two best things.   Edward asked Bella to be his date to the art show.  When he told her he was trying I was yelling at the screen yesssssss.  

You know this is just getting better and better.

Awwww this is such a great story, I just can't get enough! Great writing - it's like someone is really speaking without being too artsy or on the other spectrum - too imature. Very natural sounding.

Wow.  I was going to comment on how I thought Edward must  have had a woman in his life that could not deal with nude paintings of other women and Bella brought it up in the end.  Go figure that.  And Angela's comment about playing with fire was pretty spot on.  But despite everything I get the feeling that he really truly cares for Bella....sees something different in her.

In response to A/N age is nothing but a number and this Bella may have an innocence about her but I don't see her with an average 17 year old.

And speaking of innocence.  OMG.  It happened.  I am not surprised as we've all known it would happen.  Maybe it's just me but his admission that there are no others at this time was pretty big.  And it wasn't something Bella entered into lightly.  It is like she knew he was the one all along.  It is the after admissions that melt my heart though.  The want to lay with her all day and be with her.  I get the feeling that is not his style. 

I do hope that if he is going to do a no show again that he will call her.  I don't think I can take that again.  And one last thing.  It is about the painting.  Well you are aware that Bella is acting a bit off lately.  Trust me as a mother of teens that type of things does send up red flags.  It won't be long before Renee starts to ask questions or worse yet look for underlying causes.

 

So the bastard did put something in her drink.  I am so glad she had the sense to stop drinking and even happier that Alice came in for the rescue.   That part was too cool actually.  I can see that she and Bella will become friends.  That is if Edward does not put the kabash on it. 

I was a bit surprise he took her back to his studio.  It is so odd because in my last review I wanted to know what he is thinking and viola here is a glimpse.   He certainly did not mince words about the women he has been with.  I could not help but giggle when he told her that Tanya hits for the other team and Bella's reaction about posing for her.  Her innocence played out in that scene.  As a matter of fact I love how you have captured the innocence of a girl on the verge of womanhood. 

Edward was being honest when he told Bella she is his siren for inspiration.   When he came out naked prepared to paint I could see a bit of a shift in the story.  I do believe that he is going to be able to paint like never before.  I wonder how long it will be before he forsakes other women.

Oh man.  Charlie knows of Edward's record.   It does not surprise me that he would want to keep Edward as far from his daughter as possible.   Renee on the other hand recognizes his smooth talk, and smile.  She knows his type and she tries to discourage her daughters infatuation however it does not stop her cougar looks at him.  Let there be no doubt that Edward does know how to work the ladies.

And I can't help but wonder just how much he turns the charm on to the younger girls and how well they respond as a whole.   I hate to use the word seduce.   Perhaps it is just my preconcieved ideas of Edward.  But he didn't seem to have any problem directing her ideas.  So yeah, Renee was right, he is a smooth operator.  

I wondered how you were going to keep Bella in his life once the painting was finished.   The ID will make it a whole lot easier for her to "follow" him.  And now that she will no longer be jail bait I have a feeling he won't stop until he has her.

And one last question.  What will become of the nude painting and various other drawings?  Will he sell the nude?  One can only imagine it would bring top dollar to a starving artist.   

Awesome since I love Emancipation Proclamation- it's been one of my favorites for a while.
