I'm glad Edward said what he did to her.  She needs to be put in her place.  Perhaps seek some counseling because the girl needs help.

I'm feeling the need to either take out the thing that's been shoved up in Bella's ass, or to shove one in myself, or something... Yeah. Working for the competition, geesh. What was she thinking. Did she once ask Edward if he truly liked working for her and Esme, if he wanted to stay there and work things out like that?

The promotion: I'm sure Esme also has a good grip on their people, who deserves promotion and who doesn't. So if Esme says the boy deserves it, he just does...

They could always get married quickly, and he can take her name... Edward Swan. LOL. Meaning it's a family company then.

On second thought, no, don't do that. That last name just stinks, in general.
