I made it through twe..er..e few years of singleness, not a few of which I either lived with my parents or worked in the same building as my mother. I NEVER received any sort of mark. My husband found that out after we'd been married for 5 years and tried to make one. I thought he was unsuccessful and walked into my office, hair up, with a monstrous bruise on my neck. My mom still worked in the building.
I'd blocked that out. Thanks for bringing it rushing back! LOL!!!
I wonder what he said that she didn't quite make out!?!
AND-- we are going to get to meet Esme!!!!
I loved snuggling on the couch in cashmere and Dolce. Of course that ended in some lemony fun! Yummy chapter! It even made me want to cook! (My husband thanks you twice.)

I had a hickey a couple of times in high-school and college. I was way stupid then. LOL
The idea is kinda hot though...I liked the idea of him putting it on her leg where no one could see it.
My husband has been more than a little thankful for FF...he likes it after I read an especially hot lemon.
(Or even better...I told him once..."I'm writing something...can we try it out to see if it works?")
I thought he was going to pass out on that one....LOL

Oooooo, what could Esme want? Please tell me that she is true to character and is lovely and caring?! I would just hate to have a meddling Esme.... I honestly can't think why she would be calling though?
I like the robe idea! I always loved having an article of clothing that smelt like my man. I totally get it! He may have to buy her a robe now for his place!
Update soon - there is only so many days I can sit on the couch with Edward watching chick flicks........ hang on, take as long as you like! Really, we will be just fine;) xxx

So, yeah, I have a totally overactive imagination. And, it's not major things that get me started. Little things do it. As a result, I've spent the entire time I was reading this chapter reminding myself that Edward wasn't making circles on MY thigh.
That detail was great!
And, Jasper and Alice were so entertaining. I love that she gave Edward hell about his sweater. Fun double date!
I'm already blushing, thinking about the next chapter!

Wow! What a roller coaster 24 hours for Bella! And Edward, too, it seems. I love that he's a little uncertain, it's totally endearing. Dancing at the restaurant was yummy.
I'm so bracing myself for lemons....

Stammering Bella is so hilarous-- hasn't everybody felt like that at some point? I really didn't think Edward would go so easy on her. Great chapter.
