Aaaaccccckkkk!  How can you stop the chapter there????  I found myself holding my breath, and when Bella screamed, "No wait!", it startled me -- probably as much as it startled Edward.  I wanted him to turn her as much as Edward wanted to do it, and it made me sad that she stopped him.  I hope he stays gentle to hear her out, and doesn't let his dark side scare her away.  Bella doesn't want to go back to her life before Edward -- she said so.  And she has been calling "My vampire".  I believe she wants to be with him as much as I want them to be together, though I'm thinking it was Edward's words that caused her to stop him.  She was expecting death, and he wants her forever, so I'm guessing that this realization made her think about what she was doing -- caused her to need to get another perspective on it.  However, I still want her to let him do it.  What can I say?  I am a hopeless romantic, and I want them to end up together, no matter what they have to go through to get there.

I have to say, I love it when Edward starts out really dark, and becomes tender and gentle along the way because of Bella.  While we get peeks -- like right now -- at the tender Edward, I imagine we will see dark Edward again before the story is done.  But I hope we are also not done with the gentle Edward either.  If he feels at the moment like he must pretend about his diet and such, in order to win Bella's heart, perhaps, in doing so, at some point he will realize that he has changed and is not pretending anymore.  I mean how can he be with Bella, and still feed from humans?  Anyway, that's what I want to happen.

You said that we might be surprised when we see where you are taking this story.  I really hope I won't be heartbroken.  As I said earlier, no matter what they have to go through to get there, I want them to end up happily together forever.  I don't want Edward to slip and kill her, and I don't want Bella to leave him -- or for Edward to push her away.  My heart will be broken if they are not together forever when all is said and done.  I don't at all mind being surprised at how the story progresses, if I'm not heartbroken at the end.  If I'm going to be, please tell me I should stop reading.  *g*  I'm loving this story, and I hope I will be happy at it's completion.  What can I say?  :)

Thanks for another great -- if frustrating -- chapter.  I really hope you have the next one ready to post, because that was an aweful place to leave us hanging.  Poor Edward.  I really feel for him.  I don't care that he kidnapped Bella and plans to keep her.  Maybe she didn't at first, but she wants to be with him now, and hopefully she will want to be with him forever.  I'm more than eager to read the next chapter.  Go figure!  :)

I don't get it? Does he actually want her as a mate or just so he can fuck her and then kill her? Why does he have to pretend if he actually wants to be with her?

He wants her as a mate but the demon, vampiric side of him just wants to fuck and kill her. The pretending bit is that he will pretend to be "good" (ie. eat animals...join with his family...etc) to win Bella over. Even though he feels free when submitting to his true vampire nature. Does that make sense?

Anyone else think it's unclear? Maybe I will need to write in more explanations...I just hate it when things are sometimes too obvious.

Love, love, love this story. It's all kinds of f*ckawesome. So original, and such a cool, dark Edward. The beginning few chapters were just amazing. He's much more vampire-like and complicated, still very passionate but not (thankfully) thoroughly emasculated and sopping milque-toast. Love the last line about 'pretending' to be good. What a great line for his character. Crazy good.

So let me get this straight...Edward is allowed to kill innocent people and Bella will forgive him (from canon, no less). He's allowed to kidnap her, drink from her frequenty against her will, and even turn her into his sexual slave (all of which I've seen in other fics on this site) and Bella will forgive him.

He's even allowed to almost rape her...but if there's penetration, some invisible line is crossed?

I'm sorry, but that's absurd. Only a fool would read your story and think that you were condoning rape. This is just silly, ignorant censorship. If I were you, I'd take it to the site admins. Sounds to me like some low-level validator just got carried away.

I thought the whole point of this website and the logon approval process was so that the writers did not have to censor their writing to age appropriate readers.  Only those 18 and over are allowed access alledgedly.  I for one am disappointed that I could not read your original manuscript (chapters).  I specifically joined this site because Fan Fiction was censoring writers.

Yet, apparently there is porn available on the internet, although I've never uploaded, downloaded or whatever it is you do.  I do enjoy the adult stories written for Twilight fans.  Can you explain to me what the problem was with your story?  Why did they make you take down your (or change) your chapters?

I was told that if Edward was to rape Bella then he would need to be punished...Bella would not forgive him in the story and it wouldnt be a HEA. So for Bella and Edward to have any chance of ending up together then he couldn't actually rape her, otherwise it looks like the site is condoning rape. The change isn't so dramatic though...I think it will all be ok...don't worry x
