Sorry, having The Outsiders flashbacks there (that's where I learned the poem, and I did that then by heart, so mistakes are mine).

The hard part's over, telling the parents. I can understand why they want to rush six months worth of classes into one to get married quicker, but I'm sure someone suspects that Bella might be pregnant. I'm not saying she is (you said she wouldn't be), but the suspicion would be there. It always is for a rushed or early marriage. This smacks of both.

Can't wait to read more!

well, remember: this is a pretty strict Catholic community, so most of the adults wouldn't even think they were having sex, except for maybe renee (and she's only guessed at it) and esme (who also, only suspects.) and neither of them would be pleased about it, at all. what happened with emmett and rose was... almost catastrophic, but they managed through it and  "made it right". 

also, edward and bella have known each other their entire lives, literally. now that they both know the other wants forever, there really is no reason to wait to get married - they really do know each other. i think people nowadays tend to draw out the engagement for such a long time...

Sigh.  Edward is a very complex man.  Insecure that he is stealing Bella's future.  Positive that he loves her with all his heart and will protect her with everything he can.  Impatient to move on with thier future and conflicted about what it might hold.  Bella is alot more simple.  She places all her faith in them together and that is that.  No wonder he simply seems in awe of her at times!

wow, yeah - you said it pretty perfectly. edward does tend to overthink things, as in canon. sometimes he needs a does of bella's to-the-point-ness.  :)  they balance each other well; for sometimes bella can be a little naive at times, too.

Aw, a proposal without the actual words, that's so sweet! And very fitting for the two of them.

Something tells me that Aunt Vera is going to keep the two of them separated until the vows are actually exchanged, though. It would be funny to see them get caught sneaking from one room to another...

Can't wait to read more!

Oh, the longing that Bella felt after 5 days!  You could just feel how unsettled she was until she was with Edward again!  And his proposal-it was not the most romantic by any stretch, but you could see that he just couldn't wait a second longer to tie her to him always!  Can't wait for more!

ah, i know. they're rather dependent on one another now... and so used to being together that being apart  -especially forcibly - is pretty awful. edward's proposal was very him. ;) grand gestures and wordy declarations are not his style... like you said, he just couldn't wait any more!
