Such a great story, with a great and original concept. I love the way you write, you are descriptive, without being pretentious about it and even though there was plenty of violent situations, you always balanced them with gentleness and regret. I can't wait to read more and some new stuff too!

Man this could have gone on to be so much longer but an EPI might help that...sniffle its hard to believe tehy are all at ease now but i stillo wnat to know how thinsg are going to go in Belafast how the parents will handle everything...will they say Frack Ireland and move to the US? What of kids and the fight in Edward about schooling and work and a home etc LOL see I can go on forever! Look forward to the epi post again soon!
Author's Response: i know, i was a little sad when i finished it, too. but - i'd rather have it end on a high note than drag it out, you know? there will be an epi plus 3 chapters retold from Edward's pov. thanks for all of the wonderful, kind reviews!!

I love this story. I am planning on re reading it many times. Actually, I do not do that often. Your story is great. There have only been a few stories other than the Twilight books that I have re read over and over again. In my opinion your story is up there with: The Office, The List, Tropic of Virgo, and Master of the Universe. I am sure you have read those, if not, you should. You are awesome. Thanks for the story.

whata rollercoaster from one on one with mom, making out with Edward to be harrased by officers and scared for those you love... wow!
Author's Response: there's never a dull moment, that's for sure. it's like, taking all of the normal dramas of life, love, relationships. parental advice, and putting it up against all the horrors of a street war. yikes.

Whew! I was scared for a minute they weren't going to make it. It sucks they have to leave their family behind, but I'm so glad they got tipped off before Edward was caught. I wonder who snitched on them. Will it be revealed later? Can't wait for the next update.
Author's Response: i know; this was definitely a stressful chapter. no, it will not be revealed if someone snitched, or if the RUC simply followed old leads back down south. it's just one of those things.

I found it easier each chapter to get in their time and space and it becames unsettling to think how people live through that kind of social enviroment where you're even afraid to go to public sites and watch people die and live in terror around you... nicely done, thanks!

I'm a little bit scared that things are moving very fast between B&E and all that might come with his involvent in IRA
I know a lot is out there written already but well, I'm just starting!
Author's Response: jasper's role in this is not huge but it is significant.
as for BxE, they are moving fast in terms of physical involvement, but they've known each other their whole lives. in a way, it's almost like the only thing left to fall into place was the physical stuff, you know?
anyhow, i do hope you enjoy the next few chapters! :) let me know... and thanks for letting me know so far.

Safe at last! Scary and sad to have to start over again, but they have each other and can probably stop looking over their shoulder's now! I love how he finally explained his connection to Bella, after all this time-he's never doubted it! Cocky bastard, he could have let her know a bit earlier!
Author's Response: i know. they weren't expecting to have to uproot their entire life that way, but in the end there wasn't much of a choice. i'd imagine that the feeling of safety would outweigh all else.
and yes, edward is finally getting better about verbalizing his feelings. although, he did marry bella. she also needs to start putting value into both herself and their connection.

as for edward, he's a guy. how many men do you know express their undying love for you right off the bat? that's fantasy edward, not real life edward. but, he'll show his true colors soon enough - just stick with it.

Uh oh... he's going back? At least they've gotten married right? I mean, if he dies, at least he won't have been Bella's dead boyfriend, he'll have been her dead husband. Author's Response: lol, um yeah. i can tell the story without having the death of any main characters; there are other ways to show the intensity of the time and era. however, if that had been my intention, i'd hope people could respect that as my right.
i'm too much of an HEA girl though, seriously. and i love edward.
pre-cana, or similar pre-marriage classes, are requird for catholics that want to marry in the catholic church, yes. it varies in terms of subject matter and length of time however. i stopped practicing catholocism as a child, so, i didn't do it when i got married, but many people do.
