I am loving this fic. It is so real and believable. I'm so interested to see where you are going with it. Your writing is wonderful - easy to get through but perfectly descriptive. I love them together and it's such a unique underlying story with the Troubles. Can't wait to continue and to read more of your work.

Author's Response: aw, i'm so pleased you like this enough to re-read. :) yay! makes me happy. at this point, the only 2 chapters left are the re-writes from EPOV; i don't have plans to do a future type epilogue. but you never know, right? thanks for the love! :)

to answer a question you asked, aunt vera is mostly fictional, but loosely based on my (great) aunt mae. i adored her; she died when i was 15, but she was very feisty and we were quite close.

I'm totally with Bella on this one. Ambivalent about the actions but understanting why they were warranted. Still tough to reconcile the Edward we know and love with someone who does have the potential for brutality/violence. S Meyer does such a wonderful job of glossing over those bits...I applaud you for going there.
