I read graphic novels and some Steven King. My wife was big into Harry Potter and she started reading the Twilight books because her cousin told her about them. Bam! She was hooked. She kept going on and on about them and I had to see what all the hubbub was about. I enoyed reading them almost as much as she did. I was (am) hooked
I think other guys would like them too but because it is essentially a love story, it keeps them from reading them. But really, it's just a good story.
Author's Response: Ah, I'm a Stephen King fan, myself. Well, not EVERYthing, but many things. lol The Stand will always be my favorite of his works.
The Twilight Saga is a good story. I think Eclipse might appeal more, when the movie comes out next year, to guys due to the ramped up fight scenes. I know that for my fifteen-year-old son, those are appealing. lol He's a big Twilight fan. :)
My husband...not so much. lol But he lets me spend way too much time writing fanfic, so I'm happy. :D

I love this story, its so original, I've never seen a Bella/Embry storyline before. And did you mean that there would only be 5 chapters, period, or just that you only had 5 chapters written.

I'm glad you're enjoying my story! :) I hadn't seen a Bella/Embry story either, when I wrote it (though now I've read several!) and I find it to be a fun and worthy pairing by quite a few authors.
There are five chapters to this story, with the first four chapters being comprised of three sectoins each. The final chater has been submitted to the queue. THP is the first story in my Imprinting series, so this isn't the only part of Bella and Embry's story that will be posted. :)

I tried to make Embry a young man worthy of imprinting on Bella. And also, I believe that the imprinting process and relationship would make any of the werewolves want to be all of these things for their imprint. I hope I'm explaining it right. lol

Thank you! :) I am glad some of Bella's feelings are coming through so that Embry (and the reader) can see them. :) It's always a bit tricky, limiting oneself to a single, first-person perspective. A great challenge, though. I never would have tried it before I started writing fanfiction.
The next chapter was sent to the queue this morning, so it is now at the mercy of my validating beta. :)

I really like this story. It really gets the awkwardness of the imprint's feelings out there. It's original too. I like that. I mostly started reading on this site because my wife and I always talked about the "what ifs" ya know? This is a "what if" I had never thought of. Good job.

Jake will imprint yes, but not in this story. He gets an imprint tale of his own and I have already started it. No Bella/Edward does indeed mean no Renesmee so his imprint will be someone entirely different.
