Were the two men that drugged Bella involved in Rosalie's rape when she was in high school? They would be about the same age, right?
Author's Response: I love when readers make these kinds of predictions/connections! You are a very astute reader. I'm not going to give anything away here, but I am going to say that I really appreciate that you are reading so carefully and are invested in the fate of these characters. Thank you!

Poor Rosalie. Can't imagine walking around, shaking hands with people, not knowing whether this actually may be a guy that helped gang rape you.
I guess that Bella was lucky that Victoria and Edward was around.
As always looking forward to your next chapter.
This fic is so well-written and considering that your take on Bella is so captivating you should get tons of reviews!
Author's Response: I so appreciate your thoughts and your complimentary comments! I am enjoying writing this story so much that sharing it with others and receiving reviews is just a fantastic bonus! It's such a rewarding process! Thank you so much!

How caring of Edward, and how nice of Rosalie! Bella needs friends like them.
Author's Response: Bella finally has people out there who care about her and who will ensure that she's okay. It's a huge change for her. She has been alone and neglected for all of her young life and doesn't know how to ask for help - yet. Thank you for the review!

Thanks for another chapter! I've been anticipating it for so long and wished it didn't have to end so quickly.

Bella really is a good honest and kind girl. It is endearing. I love this Rosealie. Thank you very mush for this update. I am looking forward to the next meeting where Bella will be forced to confront the host from the party. I also am very grateful to Victoria. She is turning out to be a really stand up person in comparison to her mother. And last but not least I love Edward and his hair.
Author's Response: It really sounds like you are enjoying the story and that makes me happy and motivates me! I'm glad that you mention Victoria because I wanted her to be a complex character in this story who is three dimensional. She isn't entirely selfish and knows how to do the right thing when faced with a decision.
I appreciate the review and hearing your thoughts!

This was a really great chapter!
Rosalie is so strong to tell her story to someone she hardly knows. But I understand why she did. I'm sure that Rosalie and Edward will be relieved to hear that Bella wasn't raped.
Looking forward to your next chapter!
Author's Response: Thank you for your review! Yes, Rosalie knows that her tale of rape and victimization can help others. She is a therapist because she understands about suffering and healing and overcoming trauma. And Rosalie will certainly be happy to know that Bella was not raped. Edward (as well as Emmett) also has had to live with the knowledge that they were unable to save Rosalie from such a horrible fate. Edward would certainly beat himself up if it happened again with Bella.

Pfiew...I like Rosalie in your story, she's strong, but also really nice and caring
Author's Response: Thank you so much. I think she's such a great role model for Bella.

*Silent tears are sliding down* Rosalie's story is so SAD! I feel for the poor woman. I can't believe they made it seemed like she asked for it...no one should ever deserve to be beat and raped like that. I hope one day that Royce gets his ass kicked. I sure hope Bella confesses and continues with her healing process...
I love that Edward is concerned enough to send Rosalie.
Author's Response: I think that quite often women who are raped are considered as "asking for it." No woman, despite how she acts or dresses ever deserves to be violated or victimized in this way! Rosalie's story is sad, but it is also a story of hope. These men who raped her did not destroy her, but inadvertently made her stronger, helped her to evolve. She is a strong, brilliant woman who overcame something horrible. She is a model of the resiliency of human beings to rise above trauma and not just survive, but prosper.
I do love this Edward - he is as protective as he usually is, but also ridiculously sweet and caring. Yum!
Thank you for the review!

Poor Rosalie. I love how you adapted her story from Twilight to make it fit into modern times. Great job. Wow, Edward is worried that Bella was raped. Poor guy. And now Bella is aware of it all. Can't wait to read more.
Author's Response: Thanks so much for your comments! I really appreciate the review!

Gosh, poor Rosalie, it's so devastating what happened to her, and unfair too. Nothing wonder Edward got so scared withe Bella. And Charlie should know about those guys who gave Bella cookies, another time they can sucessfully harm some other poor girl. Cannot wait for more! Thank you!
Author's Response: You're absolutely right. The situation at the party hit a little too close to home for Edward and Rose, especially. And those guys at the party should be stopped and punished. Bella is still learning how to trust though and she is scared to disappoint Charlie. There are so many reasons why Bella's in a bad place. Luckily for her, Victoria saved her from a fate similar to Rose's. Rose's story showed us how things could have been so much worse.
Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts! Next chapter is coming up soon!

yeah, throwing up in front of someone other than a family member is so humiliating...
Author's Response: Yes, it's horrible. Especially, if you throw up in front of someone you love and admire as Bella does Edward.
Thank you for the review!

Wow Bella's morning after really was a rollarcoaster of thoughts and feelings. What in the world is she going to think of Dr. Hale's visit? I do hope Rose can get her talking...
I am completly riveted and will anxiously await your next update.
Author's Response: I love hearing that I have you riveted! I will be polishing up the next chapter today! Thank you so much for reading and reviewing my little story! I really appreciate the praise!

Yay! Bella is slowly opening up...so thrilled. I feel for her breakdown but am so happy that happened amoung friends. Emmett is just to cute...I love him.

Oh am exstatic that Bella is realizing that there is more to life than what she has been given. I am in awe just reading about Alice's room...
EGATS!! Edward is here....
Author's Response: I'm so glad you liked this wordy chapter. Alice's room is pretty amazing, isn't it? I have such a clear idea of who she is as a character that it is easy to imagine all these details. Thanks so much for the review!

Ok sitting her crying my eyes out...Its amazing how much we take something as simple as love for granted...just the simple things nobody even thinks twice about. It was a beautiful day for Bella and I am glad you wrote it like it was...that poor girl needed it.
Author's Response: I did hope that readers would feel this way! That we should all be thankful for the simple things in life- friends and family who love us and show us everyday how much we mean to them. There is always someone who is worse off, someone who doesn't have these things (like my poor Bella) and we all deserve to be loved.

Poor Bella! What a mess she got in, and thank goodness Edward answered that phone. Hmm wonder why Dr Hale is there...
Author's Response: We will see...
