And yet this reader, and the many others who are 'bothered', are perfectly fine with a 108 year old man masquerading as a teenager macking on a 17 year old girl in canon Twilight...  Seems like a bit of a double standard.  They can excuse it because it's fantasy?  Whatever.

I go the extreme opposite, I suppose.  This is fiction and NOT reality.  Depending on how it's written I really don't care if an adult Edward makes the moves on an underage Bella IF it's just Bella and not his MO.  Personally I don't consider it pedophilia (in fictional circumstances) since these two characters have this 'connection/love that transcends time'.  And regarding this story, it's not like Edward's a serial pedophile, consistently "falling" for his underage patients then moving on once they're too old for his tastes.  I know you plan to have them get together once Bella is of age so I really don't understand why some people are so freaking uptight about your story, especially when the saga we all love ends with an 18 year old girl shagging a very old dead guy who murdered a bunch of people (deserving or not).  Sure she's legal but on the face of it a 108 year old man is hanging out in a highschool and ends up stalking a 17 year old girl.  Some people need to get off their high horses and repeat to themselves "This is a fictional story, not a news blurb on CNN."  Just saying.

So  thanks for the entertainment and don't listen to the naysayers.  And yeah, a bit late to the party but I had to chime in when I saw that comment. 

the story is amazing I only started it about 5 days ago and couldnt stop everything she has been though and to be so strong at the end, I'm glad that she has a close relationship to Charlie now that she can talk to him when she is down and he knows what to do .

Never been in that place. I've always been the friend people called when someone overdosed or was drugged, so I can empathise with Edward here. Poor Bella; she isn't very naive, but she's incredibly inexperienced which can sometimes lead to disastrous decision making. Good chapter :-)

I'm so glad you updated! I haven't reviewed often enough for how much I like this story. sorry! I don't really know what to say about it other than I like it. A lot. Is Bella getting a new job? Is that what Alice wants to talk about?

I've seen that movie with the tire! "Rubber" I think it's called. It was so stupid.
