Glad you have indicated it's an Edward/Bella story.  Sure hope things between them get resolved really soon.  Jacob is just disgusting...

While I was interested in some Wesley background story, it seemed to drag on for quite a while. Is Bella going to end up as a long lost relative of Wesley's or something like that?

Yeah, I was worried that it may have been a bit too long. I actually cut it down a lot from what I originally intended. For some reason, that chapter really held me up. There was a lot that I wanted to get out from his point of view. I hope that the next chapter will answer your question or at least give a bit more insight to how the pieces fit together. (Don't want to give anything away either way here.) It's almost done...and I hope to have ready to post ready by the end of the week (It's another long one...with Edward and Bella POVs).

Don't know if it's my perception or actual 'fact' from SM's BD, I'm really not sure...  Eleazar and Carmen were always described as Hispanic, either Latin-american or from Spain, but I always thought it was the latter.

"Estad quietos, Edward, quiero decir ningún daño"

If the latter, then it should be "Estaos quieto Edward, no quiero hacerle ningun daño" as the first two words you had are plural, and you needed a negative prefix, and used 'say' instead of 'do'. And if the former then it should be "Estate quieto Edward..." (even in some cases it would also be "... no quiero hacerla ningun daño" but the other two situations are more common)

Thought you might want to fix that...?

Wow! Thank you again. I really do love comments like this. They help to make me a better writer. I was worried about the translation...I'm a bit rusty in the Spanish dept...it's been years since I took classes. I was also thinking that Eleazar and Carmen were from Spain versus Latin America so I appreciate the correct translation:) I will update that later tonight:)

Wesley has quite the colorful past. It takes a lot to give someone up, good for him for being able to do so.

Aww. I actually feel the chills up my spine every time I read the part about Amelie. Poor Wesley, indeed.

(Though I have to admit that it makes me giggle every time, too, when I read about Wesley's suicide attempts - even though it's really no laughing matter! - but come one! The poor thing tries to pierce himself with the numerous wooden stakes, even ones made of iron, steel.... just picturing him running around and ramming himself into, well, anything x))

Ha, handbook. That reminds me of the story I read here, on TW'd: "The Handbook for Vampires by Serendipitous". It's a funny oneshot with some nice lemons, me likey!
