Its relieving to see Bella in this "state of mind".....fun bella....to bad for edward, Jacob gets to watch

I'll admitt, I never really liked Jake that much but in this chapter he was just wonderful.  Every the responsible buddy. 

Amidst all the humor though, the seriousl aspects were just fine.  That thing where there was a vampire over her was frightening.  And I got a shock when she was found nearly naked in the snow two hour later.

This just about sums up perfeclty all the things that I love and hate about Twilight.  I love the characters and the way they act and interact, I hate Edward's damn stubbornness. 

Still, this is a great first effort.  My first fanfiction was a lot rougher than this.

Good to have Angela in this story, I've always liked her. 

That almost sex moment was so hot.  I hope it continues later. on.

I was really hesitant to post this initially, not only because it was my first fanfiction, but also because it had been over 10 years since I had written anything substantial. Reviews like this make me smile. I am happy to find that people are enjoying the story.

The next few chapters get a little angsty. Edward is stubborn in the beginning but it works itself out.

I know...it seems bad...but it was necessary. I needed a little conflict to set the stage. Please note that this is ultimately an Edward/Bella story. Their love is stronger than any of that...plus I didn't let it go too far. I hope you forgive me later:)

I just found your story and I have to tell you, I LOVE it! I like what you are doing with the story, mixing it up. I am so looking forward to reading more of this to watch where it all goes. I am very interested to see where you take us! Gonna be a great ride!

Also,  looks like someone likes 80's music! :D Peter Gabriel? Kate Bush? A few others as well...I like music from the 1980's a LOT, I worked in radio broadcasting back then. I was an on-air announcer for a Rock station and played all those 80's greats! In Your Eyes is one of my favorites! :D

Wow! Thank you so much for the phenomenal review:) It's definitely brought a smile to my face. I'm having so much fun writing this; it's rewarding to hear that other people enjoy it as well.

I think I was born a few years late and swear that sometimes, I'm a 17 year old locked in 1987. (Preferably trapped in the body of Molly Ringwald or Mia Sara.) It was the best time for so much music. I can imagine it was an awesome time to be in radio. I was a DJ on and off at a local club in the late 90's doing retro industrial and 80's pop nights...they just don't make music like that anymore. Most of the new bands I like are heavily influenced by some band or another from that time.

Don't get me started on the movies...I'll gush there as bad as with music. (Jacob is turning into my Duckie;P)

If you're a pansy, then so am I;) I'm an Edward kind of gal. His character is just too much fun to play with...I couldn't pass up the opportunity. (Do I see lemons in the not too distant future? Heck yeah!)

 

Thank you for your insight on the Victoria issue. I will expand on this topic further in the next chapter. I've been known to start conversations in my head without translating fully once the words come out. Perhaps that quirk spilled into my writing;)

 

In my mind, Victoria’s instinct for self-preservation would outweigh her desire to kill Bella. Wesley’s offer was too good to pass up. In discovering the dynamic of the love triangle, Victoria sees an opportunity to create even more havoc; two mates for the price of one. Again this is just how it was unfolding in my head. To me, Bella spending an eternity in captivity, knowing that the love of her life and her best friend are gone forever, and Edward knowing that once he’s gone, the Volturi could do as they wish with Bella, would be more of revenge than Victoria just killing her.

Though the concept of Bella deciding over Edward and Jacob is not new, you've been able to bring new freshness into the triangular situation. Not to mention Victoria and Wesley bringing their own flavour, to.

I must admit I was partially waiting for (hoping for?) Angela to be turned into vampire. Or at least Jacob imprinting on her (hah) but I guess that's not gonna happen. No, it's not a dare. Or is it? *guffawing*:D

I've read a couple really great stories where Angela and Jacob get together. I liked that idea (actually almost went that route), but decided the throw Embry some love instead. There is an imprint in the works for Jacob...just a little further down the road;)
