God he is a smooth fecker. Guys like that are irristable, god knows why! And the touches...I dunno if its just that I've been cooped up for ages and suddenly have all that energy that you get when you finally start feeling better but the touches made me all tingly! And I hope to god he redeems himself soon or at least has an excuse for his rather appalling though annoyingly attractive in some way behaviour!

Hmm I' getting into this Edward! Kinda thinkin also that there is more to him than just a prick.. Lovin the hot summer heat, always conducive to fun! Charlie in a speedo? Now there is a visual! Okay, are there seriously speedo pictures of Charlie?  Because that's AWESOME.

What a great start! I'm lovin Jasper! :-) Jasper always makes me happy and a good Jasper/Alice doubly so! Interesting to have Alice as the damaged, abused one in this case, its such a contrast to her normal character and really works. Often you see Bella or Rose in that role but I'm liking this! Curious to see how Edward comes into the equation!

I'm just getting over a suspected case of swine flu but think I must be pretty much better now seeing as I have just got up in the middle of the night to make and eat and entire batch of pancakes (haven't eaten in days, honest!) and am now settling in to read lots of fic that I missed out on while sick!

I thought it was a great chapter. Edward better decide to change. Hopefully while at the lake Bella can go out dancing with the girls and Edward can get a bit jealous - might be good for him.

I heard about this story through the threads and I'm so glad I gave it a shot!  I'm so hooked!  I hate Tanya w/ the fire of a thousand suns, and I think Edward is a filthy manhoor.  I love Bella and the rest of the crew, and I'm really upset that Bella let that asshat take away her last days of the summer w/ her family.  I can't wait till the next chap, I need to see Edward feel shitty cause if he isn't I just might throw my comp across the room! I'm so glad I found this story bacause I'm totally hooked from chapter one! I love the plot and writing. Edward get's me constantly thinking what's his damn problem, but I gues we'll find out in the future. I also love strong Bella. I can't wait and see what she'll do next and if Edward will react to her departure.

OK, first of all, Bella is hurt, but what the fuck did she expect? He's a fucking ASSHOLE - no shock there. But I think he's lying about fucking Tanya - or she wouldn't be trying so hard to relive the past and convince everybody that they're still something.

Why isn't anyone mocking her? and her habit of asking questions? you know what I mean? it's annoying? Bella should mock her for it? ;)

 

Why aren't they sending the biatch home? And why is she a "whore" to Bella - she's just a link in Edward's slut chain, as is Bella.

 

Bella, you did a man whore and got burned. Shit happens. Stop being so clingy and insecure. Buck up, Buttercup!  MOVE ON TO A DECENT GUY. You got your cherry picked by a master fruit-ologist...now. move. on. !!!!

Nothing good EVER came out of Texas!! (I'm not counting Jackson Rathbone - cause he was born in Singapore.)  :)  Herpes I and Herpes II should leave, go back to Texas, and leave Bella to her lake. oi!

All good points!  When I wrote Bella this way, I set her up to fail, because I think people often fall in love with someone who isn't good for them.  It's a war between the heart and mind, and in many cases the heart wins, unfortunately.  

Though I didn't write it down, everyone is mocking Tanya relentlessly behind her back! The situation is just so freaking awkward that no one goes there to her face.  

As for the "whore" wording, I pulled this from real life, in that a girl who comes into a situation in that capacity is often labeled the "slut" or "whore" or whatever.  This isn't right, of course, and frankly Edward should be the one being branded here, but in my experience this often happens.  

Bella is going to go through some major changes, here, so wait and see!  Also, "master fruit-ologist"!!!  HEE!
