I am giggling like a little girl waiting for Jake to find out Emma's new boyfriend's name.  Seriously, he is going to blow a gasket.  I can understand Bella's reaction actually but I really, really want Jake to set the whole house on fire or something.

I don't know if I should be pissed with Bella or heart broken for Bella...but I am glad that she won't be apart of hurting her daughter..but all this time with Jacob and he is still not enough for her... that is just I don't know.... my face is on the floor....there is always first loves that you will never forget but at some point you remember that love and you bestow that love onto the one that took you as you were flaws and all unconditionally...I am looking forward to the next chptr.. update soon :)

Idea: why don't you bring Jacob into this? It would cause alot more suspense in the story. Why don't you tunr emma into a vampire?

Whoa!!!!!!  Whoa!!!!!!  However, I was wondering how it was going to go down with Bella in terms of telling Emma. It seems she's very much in character here. She's not going to tell her.... Although you have Jake to figure out!!! Damn, this is an awesome story!  I squeal everytime there's an update!!!

GRRR IM SO pissed off at those Cullens.. Poor Bella I dont like her at all but I totally think she got the shaft in that situation... she is going to have to live threw that pain all over again. she should feel jelouse of her own daughter.... Shame on you Cullens!!!!!!!!!!

I just...it's so hard for me to even fathom the amount of hurt she's going through.

and i have a feeling she'll never be healed from it..it'll just be a long life hurt.

I think it hurts more because we all know how Bella and Edward could've been.

They just abandoned her, left her....Edward's a coward.

So now maybe we can learn if Edward meant it when he said that Bella's aging would not matter to him.  Is he not still in love with her too?  How can he now turn to her daughter?  I understand how he fell for Emma in the first instance.  But now this feels like incest and it is very uncomfortable to read about. 

I am interested to see how you resolve this.  Maybe you won't and we will just be left with this creepy feeling like something dirty is going on.  You say you mean to write Edward as detached.  But now that Bella is back in his life, he cannot stay detached. 

I agree that Emma is probably better suited to him.  But, if Edward was truly mated to Bella in a permanent fashion, like SM explains in Midnight Sun, then he won't be able to truly mate with Emma as long as Bella lives. Maybe Bella's death is the solution to this unimaginable mess.  But how can his relationship with either woman survive this horrible love triangle.

I do legal writing for a living and understand that sometimes the "storyline" can take us into dark places if we didn't plan it through enough at the beginning.  It sounds like that is where you are.  It will be interesting to see how you dig us all out of this.

While I am uncomfortable with where the plot seems to be taking us, your writing style is compelling and will bring me back to see what you do.  Let me give you a suggestion.  Since it may be a few months before you update, please put a summary of where we are in the story line in the opening notes so we don't have to re-read the story to catch back up.

Sorry if my last review was negative on the Edward front, but this is excruciating!  I'm annoyed that Bella is jealous of her daughter, a daughter who has all the spunk and fire that Bella failed to project.  But...I'd pick Bella over Emma any day.  I'll keep reading because I like how you write and the banter and easy wit has been enjoyable, but at the end of the day, I'd still hope for an E/B finish, no matter how impossible that is. x

Nice update.  A very interesting situation. Both Emma and her mum loves Edward.  Eager to see where this will go.

I personally did not find Edward full of himself. I thought he was only confident in his relationship and able to defend his right to be happy, instead of automatically picking up the crucifix and assuming the role of martyr.
