I completely loved Edward in this chapter! So sweet, caring and loving... I don't think I would have been able to keep my hands off him! :)

Hm. Interesting flashback. I wonder how Aro knows her from the past?
Loved the rest of the chapter though. The chemistry between Bella and Edward durring Truth or Dare was fantastic. I knew sex was probibly a little must to hope for so soon after his promise to Emmett but with the tension I was kind of hoping for at least a passionate kiss before he came to his senses. *sighs* Oh well. I'm sure you'll make it up to us. :)
I know Edward is right about Bella's reaction to Emmett's news. I just hope Edward's able to find some "creative" ways to make her want to live life again.
Author's Response: A lot of people were hoping for a kiss. You weren't alone. But they did tap noses. Does that not count for anything?

The tub scene put me in a tizzy.
This: It did feel good. "This does feel good." I sounded like an idiot. was freaking hysterical. For subtle plastered Edward. I love your plastered Edward- he was obviously very drunk, but still more in control of himself than most. Amazing. And hot.
Edward seems to be more drawn to Bella than Bella to Edward. Maybe because Bella's guard is up (rightfully so) and Edward is in a slightly more convenient position to like her. I'm just... not feeling it from Bella's end as much as I did before they had sex. Also, if a guy thinks about a girl, it means a lot more, because guys are thought to be "less sensitive". So if Edward thinks one line of text about Bella, it means more to me than Bella thinking one line of text about Edward.
I do love your Bella. She feels very realistic to me, and she's charismatic in her own way. Great Chapter.
Author's Response: The tub scene wasn't supposed to happen, and yet, I could not stop it. Funny how that works.
I'm glad you thought Edward was drunk enough. You know, I agonized over that. My Edward doesn't quote Streetcar or his favorite songs, but he has his own little quirks.
We haven't really had that much of Bella and Edward in Bella's POV since the sex, but your point on men vs. women is well taken. I am really, really, trying to take Bella away from the mopey place that is no fun to read or write about.

I'm amazed at both Edward & Bella's control. Being drunk and naked and NOT having sex? Well, I guess they're both better people than myself. I got a kick out of the fact that Bella was number 13 on Edward's list. Too funny. So Bella's luck. :) Anywho, the next chapter is the one I'm really waiting for. I'm nervous to see what Bella's response to the deposition date will be, and if she's going to be mad at Edward for not telling her earlier.

Yeah you posted another chapter!!! It's fortunate that my husband is snoring really loud right now and I can read it undisturbed :~) My first thought was that it was way too short (that's a compliment not a complaint). I love this story and can't get enough. I have a new found love for truth or dare, however that was a BIG tease (shame on you). I can't wait to see Bella's reaction to Emmett's visit and his news about the deposition. I also have to say I love how Edward is trying to protect and keep Bella happy. Well my Tylenol PM has kicked in and I'm off to bed.

Interesting that the Volturi gave her a scholarship - and required that she work for them after graduating. Raises the question of why her, what's so special about Bella that they deem it worth their time and money? It shouldn't be too hard for them to recruit suitable people fresh out of school.
Like this story very much, the plot line is fascinating and I'm really looking forward to how this will develop. Bella's and Edward's relationship is intriguing, they both keep their feelings locked away although both are increasingly attracted to each other.
How will Edward's family react if/when they are informed about their real relationship? And how will Rosalie react, I doubt she will be very pleased.

I was saddened there was no hanky panky, but the sexual tension, you could cut it with a knife. They like each other way more than they let on. Especially Edward, Bella wears alot of her feelings on her sleeve, you can see right through her, but not Eddie, but we expect no less from him. As usual Emmett is hilarious! Plopping his feet on the coffee table, I'd kill him, Edward probably wanted too! Then not leaving that was the best.

I just joined this site, but I've been reading this story for a few weeks. I have to tell you it's fantastic--real plot, believable characters, unbelievable situation that I believe anyway--I love it. And I'll keep looking for the next installment.

Love it, as usual, despite the lack of copulation. Ha, what a gross word. I love how Edward's all protective of Bella. But Emmett is too, and I like how they have different ideas of what protection entails. I suppose Edward thinks he knows her better than Emmett does, but Emmett is thinking he knows her better than Edward does. Emmett thinks about it from a cop standpoint. Edward's got the emotional aspect (as much as he'd like to deny it) while Emmett's got the whole "this is my job, she's been entrusted to me to keep safe" aspect. What a conundrum. Le sigh.
