WELCOME BACK!  And you're back with a big bang too:-)

First off - I know that Marie was only with Jason Jenks for a little bit just over a year ago, but I can't believe she didn't recognize him at the gala, or him her.  Especially after she heard his name!  She is so wrapped up in Edward.  And I know that sometimes when you see someone outside of the normal setting for him/her - things don't always click right away.  I wonder if it will come back to her at some point, especially if/when they join the Occhi. 

Which, btw, I'm so excited for them to join the Occhi - I think it will be incredibly interesting. 

I think Jake has told Bella's cover story to Leah, it was pretty clear that Leah doesn't buy the whole E&B are engaged story.  And the only explanation for that doubt is if Jake gave her the info.  While I don't think Leah is going to turn out to be uber connected, it still concerns me. 

Edward reading innuendo into everything Bella says and does is HILARIOUS!  And totally adorable.  And I love a Bella that cheats in Scrabble. 

I really liked how she finally started to confide in him.  She still didn't reveal anything too important, but I think even saying their names was a big step for her.  I hope that "you make me happy" was the sentiment she had wanted to say last week too.  Even if it wasn't, I'm sure it was something along the same line.  So lovely.

As for Jason Jenks... Bella met a LOT of people when she worked for the Volturi, and it's not like she would expect to see him in Seattle.

I was ecstatic to see that there was an update, and the chapter was wonderful. I'm happy she got through the deposition unharmed and now I guess only time will tell what will happen. :o) Thanks for the update and the great chapter! :o)

I'm glad to see a new chapter posted.  I was started to get worried that you dropped the story.  Still a great chapter though, the deposition part being much shorter than i anticippated.  Still, Edward's point of view was a lot of fun to read.  Thanks again for posting!

LOVE IT!  I'm thrilled with this update!  It's like Christmas in June, lol! 

Now we know what Jacob and Edward were discussing from the last chapter.  Interesting how much energy Edward is putting into an alibi for Bella.

Also interesting that Edward is considering assoiating with Laurent and the Occhi...  The things he will do for Bella!
