Great chapter! My heart is broke for both Bella and Edward. I hope he understands what she is trying to do. Poor guys. I feel for them big time.

Oh my HEART that was an amazing chapter! I never thought she'd leave, leave all of what she had but as we read along and saw all of her explanations, the way her mind figured every little detail out, it was impossible for her NOT to go.<p>LOVED this line...<br />"If it's art, then it will be ruined. What is she thinking? I know she is trying to protect Edward and the family by leaving, but who is going to protect her? And Edward will be devastated. He needs to find her and bring her back - and soon.
Author's Response: She's not being rational. But she's in love with Edward, and things got real for her. And it's not like he's kept her in the loop on all his planning.

Oh man, Bella! She's being ridiculous if she thinks that Edward's going to be safe now that she's gone. Just knowing about her would get him killed and she should have thought about that! Stupid, emotional Bella!

Gah. No sense of self preservation. What would Rose do? She wouldn't try to do something stupid like set herself up for failure. If Bella were worried about Edward's and his family's safety, she should have talked it through with Emmett so that they could devise a plan to secure her somewhere else. Running off with her gardener and a cooler just doesn't sound like a good idea.
I feel terribly sad for Edward. He's so sweet. :(

Of course she's leaving...when I think about it, it's been leading up to this all along. I'm surprised that Edward didn't figure it out. (or maybe he does?)

I always love a little role-reversal in fic where Bella leaves Edward because *she* makes all the decisions about what she thinks is best for him. And it backfires. But despite how much I love that... this sucks! Edward's going to go ca-razy when she's not there. Hopefully he'll go straight to Jacob for info. Regardless, he has the resources to find her.
Love that Bella and Rosalie had their "we need to get drunk together" time. Even if it was cut short by the sketchy Jenks - which is like the paper-cut of this story.
The Edward scenes were especially lovely in this chapter. He was so much more vulnerable than what we're used to seeing from him. It made me sigh. a lot. And it's always the same in the previous chapter and again a couple times in this one, "I don't want to be apart from you/her." So much more powerful than an, "I want to be with you."
Got a chuckle when picturing Bella/Marie dropping her papers to gather information. And finding that she seemed to be good at this extra job that Aro put upon her.
Author's Response: When I outlined this story more than a year ago... a role reversal would have been dramatic. Now it's been done before, but I still think this where the story needed to go.
I guess the papers were my homage to Clumsy Bella. :)
Edward and Emmett are up next.
