Edward's pain brought tears to my eyes. His heartache was palpable and I hated to see him in this situation.
Is there something with that painting? The lack of signature seems a little fishy?
Who the hell is Laurent and how does he know anything?What is Edward going to say to Alice!? The ending of the chapter was pretty explosive and it leaves me very anxious for the next one.

Now, Bella has been gone for four months! Where the h*ll is she?! I think Aro is her uncle or godfather xD
I hated Jacob so much in this chapter, ugh. And Jessica is so stupid it hurts LoL
I felt such a relief when Alice asked Edward to talk, I don't know exactly why, but it's good to know someone from the Cullen family besides Emmett knows the thruth. And Laurent, well, let's just say I'm dying for the next chapter ;)

Hm, I'm sensing something is very not-right with that painting--was Bella right after all to be suspicious of it?
And, you know, I kind of love that Alice isn't reacting to Bella "going back to her abusive ex" in the same way that she reacted to her mackin' with the gardener. It really shows her love and concern, in a nuanced way. But please, tell me *someone* in the family is going to find out the truth soon. Edward has to realize at this point that the secret's out, and giving his family the Bella 101 isn't going to put them in any danger they're not already in.

Another Wow chapter. I so love Edward & Emmett POV. I can't believe Jessica blabbed all that, let alone Laurent told her. Great chapter.
