I think Laurant must have something to do with the Volturi or something, I mean how else would he know about Marie? Maybe it's something with Emmett... I mean he said there was rats around there right?
Poor Edward... I feel so bad for him. He truly loves her, and you can tell he's totally lost without her. She has to contact them or something. They need to hear from her, for their sanity at the very least... to know she's ok.

I can't express how much I LOVE this story! As always this is a double edge sword. On one hand I can't wait until it is complete so I can reread it in without waiting between chapters. On the other hand, I don't want it to end. Poor Edward my heart is broken, but I think Bella is suffering worse becasie she knows why she left and how much he is hurting.
Rose is gonna throw a fit if/when she finds out Em lied.

Ahhhh! That chapter was wonderful! It's getting so intense. haha. Edward's reaction to finding out Bella had left was absolutely perfect. I loved when he and Emmett went to go talk to Jacob and I laughed out loud when Edward wondered if he'd ever be able to fire him. haha.
I think Edward's concern about Bella and his determination to look for her is absolutely adorable. I know he loves her, but him freaking out was like the icing on the cake. Is that weird that I think that? haha.
I feel bad that he hasn't slept though. :( He's so worried that the Volturi could have found her already. I have to wonder if maybe there's some significance in that painting? I mean, first Jason Jenks - a man who recognized Bella from somewhere - delivers it, and then Edward realized the artist didn't sign it...almost as if it's not an original painting...interesting.
I feel bad for Emmett, too. It's obvious that he cares about Bella, and it sucks that he was put in the position to have to lie to Rosalie. I hope Rose goes easy on him when she finds out.
The end, with Edward and Alice at the chariy event...so great! I think I stopped breathing for a minute when Jessica started spouting off about Edward's fake fiancee. And then we come to find out that Laurent knows that Bella is Marie! AHH! And now Alice knows something is up too! I can't stand this suspense! haha. Thank you so much for updating. I loved it and I can't wait until next week. :)
