I really hope that you finish this story.  I need to know how it ends!!!  PLEASE!?!?!?!?

I love you, this story is really good (as in oh my god I can't believe it's 3 am already good) but I also hate you because you didn't end it. I made a happy ending in my mind, obviously.

I love this story so much! What can I do to convince you to finish it? Well, I really hope you finish it someday. Thanks so much for sharing! 

Really, really enjoyed your writing so far. I felt sooo bad for Edward when he came home to an empty house hen Bella flew the coop! Loved how you didn't have them immediately kiss and make up. Can't wait to see where the story goes, esp a scene btw Bella and Rosalie! Lol

Devastated, I got so engrossed in this that now I can't wait!! Update soon, I am interested to see the trial and possibly a sequel. Although Rosalie is going to rip off Emmetts balls when she finds out Marie was a case.

I love this story, in your remarks you seemed discouraged at times. i know it has to be stressful waiting for responces from readers, maybe some are not good at responding, like me. i can not reply to every chp. I'm just not good at it,,,,,please  don't  give up, you're to good to stop writing.

Well, limona, I have to tell you I heard a ton of recs for this story ever since I got involved in the fandom two years ago.  Probably the most insistent voice was the Twific Pimps.  About a year ago I gave in despite my policy of not reading WIPs that haven't updated recently, and I thought your story lived up to all the hype, which was not easy to do.  I was thrilled when I saw an update in June, and I certainly hope you find the time and inspiration to finish sharing your vision with us.

So here are my thoughts on Chapter 23. 

OMG, the flashbacks to Bella's time with the Volturi just get creepier and creepier.  ‘...focused instead on surviving my date.'  With Felix, knowing what he does - ugh!  But I did laugh when he called Aro a drama queen.  But then they walk into a scene from hell...  How did she have the nerve to stay in Aro's office gather information?  Especially with his gloves and hat on the desk, as if he could return any moment!  I guess that's why she's a hero and I'm a chicken.  At least she went straight to the FBI afterwards.

Oh geez, Edward finally loses the car tailing them but then informs Bella there are two more ... and who is their savior in the red car?? 

This is really vivid description:  ‘It felt like I was underwater. Things were happening, but time slowed down so I could experience every split second. Traffic was whizzing by all around, but I could see details I would normally miss...'  Makes me feel like I'm right there with them.

Lord, where did Edward learn all this cloak-and-dagger stuff?  Years of exposure to Emmett, maybe?  And then they're going to be together till the trial - wow.

Fun line (Edward):  "I've steered many a boat through water fiercer than this." 

But then ‘seeing his expression stopped the words on my tongue. ...This was not the joyful reunion of lovers I anticipated.'  Ouch.  I almost giggled at the way she tried to get his attention at breakfast, knowing she was acting childish.  Finally she's reduced to being direct, but gets "Where was your faith in us? I would have taken you away to keep you safe, Marie, but you couldn't wait for that. You preferred to sneak away with the damn gardener and stay in cheap motels."  At least now she can see how "all in" he was.  But what a lot of thinking she needs to do, to catch up with him.

Enjoyed your reflection that ‘In the movies, whenever someone chases after their one true love, they always catch up with them and have a touching reunion.'  In fic, too, giggle.  I'm glad you made her work for it, like with real people.  Who get drunk when it's too much.

‘He was sprawled out on a rock like he was dead.'  TOO scary.  ‘He knew I'd always dreamed of coming somewhere like this, and he brought me here even though he wasn't sure I still loved him.'  Sniffle.

And re Rosalie: "She was right."     "I'm sure she'll rub it in when we get home."    Ha ha ha, perfect.

"I wasn't better off without you."  Wonderful. 

Another favorite line:  ‘I'd always considered myself an astute observer of Edward Cullen...' 

See, at least your Bella is aware enough to think ‘How would I have felt if he'd left me with a note? I would have been broken.'  Thank you!  Canon Bella never put herself in Edward's place.  I like that you made them take their time, too.  Of course I was hoping there would be a happy, sexy reunion at some point, but you kept me guessing.  Enjoyed your use of the "You've kept me waiting" line. 

"But you can't ask me not to do whatever I think is right."  Hmm.  The essential dilemma of Edward walking away in NM.  Doing what he thought was right, however emotionally immature his execution might have been. 

OMG, I was not expecting his proposal!  With his grandmother's ring yet.  What wonderful words: "If this is going to work between us, you need to stop telling me what I want and what I can do. We're adults. We make our own choices...I choose you."

His stubbornly positive outlook is so refreshing, and something she needs desperately.  Sigh.  

Love this story! I was so excited to see you've added chapters! Can't wait for the ending of the story :)

Oh! Can't hardly wait for the trial and the family comming back together.  This is just such great drama and action that it is really hard to hit the wall and wait for the next segment.  I'm really glad that I came late to this party so I was able to enjoy it so seamlessly so far.  You have a great rythym to your writing and the storyline has a wonderful flow.  I'm really looking foreward to see how you wrap this monster up.
