Great chapter - good to see Bella working it out, but not magically cured! Also glad that you showed some different personalities in Edward's co-workers. Not all of them will be so taken with Bella that they'll be respectful. Even though she is awesome. The compromise seems like it makes a lot of sense and I'm glad that she'll be getting back to work soon. It'll help the story progress and help her find a way to work through the memories the more active she is... Never saw Psych but you give a good summary. I like Monk and House, so it sounds like a similar type that I would like. :)

You know, when I saw that Carlisle was one of the three on Bella's review I wondered whether he would be considered too close to her to be objective. There's a reason family members are restricted in that sense. Sure, he's not actually related to her, but he's known her for a while, and since she's living with Edward, wouldn't that make her his de-facto daughter-in-law (or niece)?
Which is not to say he couldn't be objective (obviously he could), but the perception of objectivity is as important as the objectivity in question. Mind you, I loved it when he took Dr Vandis to task.
Can't wait to read more!

oh, my god! i love that show so much! i'm not home when it plays, but we record it, and i watch every single episode! most amazing TV show ever. i love the USA channel in general.
another show you might like if you like psych is monk. it's also about a detectve, but he's older, a widow, OCD, and extremely phobic of everything. like, when he walks down a street, he has to touch all the posts, but then he has to wipe off his hands. so his ability to notice little things that aren't right, because of the OCD, is why he's such a great detective.

Great chapter! I doubt I would be progressing any better than Bella, but she is doing very well all things considered. I love how Edward threatened to kick that guys ass once he was all better. I also love the way Dr. Kellison and Carlisle tore into the other doctor for not wanting to promote Bella. Can't wait for more!!

Oh yeah, Bella definitely needed a go at the punching bag. Much better than punching walls (walls hurt...)
If it wasn't for the fact that it's a bit late in the story to be introducing a new plot point, I'd be wondering if those douchbags will be making an appearance in Bella's life again. Edward's not gonna like that...
