Aaaah, I just read the whole story up to this point in one sitting, and I'm DYING that this chapter ended with a cliffhanger like this!!! :) I've fully enjoyed this story so far, and am so intrigued to know what the deal is with Bella's past. i love the fact that bella here hows us what is considered having a backbone while expressing your feelings, without sounding whiny, yet rather intelligent and thoughtfull. bravo.
edward is stupid to the point that becomes almost painful-it makes me feel that everything bella serves him, serves him right.;)

oh, shit, Edward was so close to the 'moment' I've been waiting for. Well actually it isn't the only moment I'm waiting for - like the moment I find out what the hell is Bella's story - but it is a moment that will keep me satisfied for a while!

Nice chapter. I enjoy the fact that while you've made Bella much more dependent upon the Cullens, you've had her able to see what they treat her as. I can see why the idea of Alice's abilities would push Bella to think she's being played with. It's a cool concept. Plus her getting mad at Edward is nice to see. I hope you don't have her giving in too soon (though I don't want it to drag too much either... uuhggg... it'll be an interesting balancing act) to his advances. I don't hate you or the characters yet, but I guess there are more chapters? No, I don't see that happening. Can't wait for more!

I just want you to know that I like it when Tanya isn't made out to be the bad guy. She really wasn't mean or anything in the books, so I appreciate it when her role stays a little bit more in character.
