Wow, I love to be surprised and the Cullens' reaction to what Bella saw in the mirror was certainly surprising.
No need to justify three chapters for one day... it was one BIG day. I think you did a great job revealing all of the information that you wanted us to know in these first chapters. I cannot wait for more.

i love how you wrote the beginning part. it does have a nightmarish sort of feel to it. i've definitely had nightmares like that - who am i? where am i? wtf is going on? - and they creepy me out enough to stick with me for the entire day.

Another wonderful round of chapters! It's always such a good feeling to see that you've got another update. To read your story is "like comfort food", it just feels so downright good for the soul.
I thoroughly enjoy how in canon your characters are and your storyline is quite intriguing.
This is one wonderfully written story that I love coming home and reading after a long day of work. Just change into some comfy clothing and open my laptop and get immersed in "Lost Cause."
Please, do go on with the show now...

so Bella's got a tactile gift of sorts, though it's odd that she doesn't feel hungry, and that it's apparently a pre-existing condition from before whatever event brought her to the Cullens.

I was just thinking about this story this morning and Im so glad to be able to read another wonderful chapter. Cant wait to see how Christmas goes. Now that Bella can read Edwards mind when she touches him I can only image what would have if they get intimiate. My only question about the story is the Bella age thing...Is she really 30 or does she only think she's that old? Will we find out soon why she thinks shes that age?

I can't wait to get all of my questions answered. You have a very good pace of intrigue, revealing a little bit and still moving the story forward in this chapter. It is tempting to rush sometimes and I like that you are letting this unfold.
