Again, your descriptions make the story come alive.  "Like I had put on glasses that made everything -distinctly British".The Mustang.  Love older homes.  Enjoyed the descriptions.  Detail is everything.  You make us feel like we know his family.  Sister, Victoria scrutinizing.  THey are very protective of Rob.  Had to laugh about Rob having no filter.  Have a son just like that.  And Clare, I relate to.  I would be considered intense.  Just right there.  What you see is what you get. I knew you would do this. Now for the real angst.  What was all the crap about Rob getting into messes that he ha to pull him out of.  I think it's more the tight leash they keep him on.  He is an investment. He hasn't found his balance.  His stride.  He's not a playboy.  He's their media darling whom they have to monitor, control.  Personally, it's BS.  Poor Jen.  I would hate to be condescended to.  Probably, I would have been more forceful in my private talk with Nick.  I am not a new flavor of the month type person.  You don't know me, how dare you judge me. I understand more about his career than you think.  I am not a bimbo. Boy, it felt great to get that off my chest.

And why hasn't he called. If he doesn't, she's going to spiral down and be full of self recrimination.

Such a super sensitive Rob. He needs the emotional support and strength that Jen provides.  I know the real world wil now intensify the desperate need he will feel without her nearby to calm and soothe.  What of her.  She will now have to draw upon her own inner depths to provide strength.  For both of them.  What an emotional challenge.  She has an inner fire that has been tempered by severe loss. 

On to the next chapter.

I truly think he cares so much about what is going on around him, about what people feel around him... He definitely needs someone to be that rock for him as well. Jen and Rob do so well together, because they support one another.. .When one falls the other pics them up, and vice versa. a good partnership.. 

Can Jen do it for both of them. She has suffered much in her life..it will either temper her or engulf her... Is he important enough to her to weather it?

i simply adore writing in the small "outings" that they experience.. It seems Rob does absolutely fine with small appreciations... it's the yelling screaming mobs that do harm... and for them to experience the small interactions with favorable results... it will hopefully temper them slowly for the big reveal. they can discover more and more of the fandom might be ok with their relationship.

Jen possesses the maturity they will need to weather the entry into the madness that is the world of Rob's celebrity. Voice of reason.  But you gotta love Rob's intensity.  Will she be the balance he needs?  Will Nick recognize the value of her leveling factor.  All three can have what they need.  Rob's artistry is the beacon that shines for the world to see.  It will lose its luster if it has to shine all the time.  Jen just wants the private Rob.  She is his soft place to fall. Rob is a valuable commodity to Nick.  Align with Jen and keep him balanced. Sounds too simple.Ready for the next chapter.

So I have 3 chapters to make up for. Sorry for my lack of review. I loved them all of course. The christmas tree, the lot, the new house, the yummy sex in the foyer, the delicious sex on the counter...sigh. I was sooooooo very happy to see Jen encourage Rob to relax in public. He was acting so frightened about people seeing them together and in my mind the whole time all I could think was, what's the big deal. Just let them know, it's fine. I know I may be a wee bit jealous if he "came out" but I would still love and support him, as I'm sure most fans would. (Of course I have read some dreadful digs on Kristen to which I say- Shame on you! to "those" fans.) Anyway- I'm glad they are going to let their relationship be known. Can't wait to see what Nick the Prick thinks of that. Ahhh, Christmas.. Can't wait to see Rob's reaction to Jen's gifts. I love how you write his expressions, sighs, feelings..

My favorite line this chapter without a doubt: "Leave the cleaning, Jen. I need you in our bed," he whispered... Whew! I think my panties exploded..
