She found the sexpender pants.  Whoo hoo.  You know, they are probably really somewhere like that.  LOL  Poor Jen, what a horrible day for her.  Mr. Wright was not nice making her feel crazy and having to call Rob, and then his reaction.  Glad her shitty day is over.  Now on to these illness symptoms she has been having.  I hope she is going to the Dr. soon.  We need to know what is wrong.....or maybe right?  Hmmmmmm.

Jen... a very long and very hard day for her.. but necessary regardless. Poor Mr. Wright, having not seen her in two years, having seen her a little lost the last time he did see her... i can see how he might make the assumption... but true.. he should have trusted her.

Ok - that was heart wrenching.  Having to say goodbye to a loved one is heart wrenching.

Creepy Number One has hit the motherload!

I'll start out with the funny before we move to the sobbing, and this line makes me giggle! You go Jen!

OK...now to the tears. Oddly, I was smiling through a lot of her conversation with Mike...it just felt like she needed to say these things so badly, and I could feel the weight being lifted as she spoke. It made me happy for her. To know that she was blessed to have something so special twice in her life...and that she could feel like Mike was sitting there with her, and telling her that this is what he wanted for her. That she knew Mike loved her enough to want her to be happy for the rest of her life. It was beautifully done.

What really drove me to tears was the conversation with Malcolm. And the moment she just looked at him and said

I don't know if I can explain this well, but I'm gonna try. It was almost as if at that moment, Rob stopped being this young, sometimes very boyish, guy, and instead became Jen's MAN...the one that she was truly trusting with her life, with every moment that was ahead of her. Not just the fun times, but the tough decisions...the real LIVING that goes on in a relationship. It just made me feel so overwhelmed for him in a way, yet proud of him for growing into that role for her.

I thought that whole chapter was really just gorgeous Steph.

yep the motherload of all goodness... the sexspenders... out of all the crap she has to deal with, she can celebrate that!

sigh. you make me cry every time... she most definitely felt a release. she is truly blessed to have had two incredible men love her in her life (three if you count her father). She has peace with Mike, and now that she can finish that chapter in her life, it paves the way fro Rob to do it for her. Not to replace Mike, no... but to take over as her partner.

gah.... Malcom... she is so nervous to let it be known.... this is her first true declaration to someone outside of the Patti influence... and for it to be her first loves father... so much courage. and add to that, Jen is signing her life to him...not just financially, but its a pledge to say she trusts him to make the right decision should she falter, should she fall. he is the one she trusts with her life. He is truly her man, her love, her partner and her closest friend.

Oh Steph, a beautiful chapter.  I am so glad that Jen dealt with this alone, with Rob still in London.  I think she needed the privacy to say goodbye, and although it's nice to lean on Rob he's so distracting I think it was better for her psyche to do this on her own.

And Mr. Wright "pausing" over the birthday, and not really believing her - thinking that she truy had finally lost it - would have been priceless and hilarious if it wasn't so sad!  Made me wonder - are there fans out there crazy enough to actually do that?  I mean leave an estate to him.  How awkward that would be.

Well, a few more chapters (?) then back to London - where maybe we can see some times with the sexspenders ON Rob!  (After they've been washed of course - ew).

terri, thanks so much dearest. and you are the first one to say that. i happen to agree. she needed to do it alone without the haze of the PAtti. this is her old life, she needs to make the fresh break. Good to have Rob there as support, from far away, otherwise she may have avoided it further.

Mr. Wright. he loves his DIL, but yeah, she coudl be seen as crazy from a normal persons perspective, especially since its not public. it's ok, you can laugh a little. First of all, thanks so much for the update! Now I'm floating on RobJen high...*sighing* I  need to let you know that your Fic is thoroughly appealing and addicting, and that I'm always literally craving for the next update. Thanks for giving me a FanFix!

This quote is so Jen, right? I love this side of her personality; I can so relate to her...it feels like she's just another one of the fan girls. Oh... and those just so naughty, "sexpenders," left in his Beamer all them long lonely months...that's just obscene! hahaha! This was such a delight to read in your chappie.

The next quote from your story shows me that RobJens relationship is growing. They are both ableto  express themselves even if it's a bit offensive to the other, because relationships are never perfect (unless it was RobLiz lol) and words come out somewhat not in the right tone or with sarcasm when the other partner seems not to understand. But, in the end I love how Jen apologized for the flare-up, because that's very important in relationsghips too.

  "Yes, well now you understand how it feels. I need to go," I said and hit end. 

   I just hung up on Robert Pattinson.

    Crap. What was wrong with me? I just hung up on Rob! "

The following quote had me full of tears. It was just so touching. It shows not only Jens love for Mike, but it tells a story to me on it's own.

            "He's a good man, Mike. I think you'd like him," I whispered into the air.

      I knew he was listening. He had always listened.

    I shook my head and tore at the grass beside me.

   "I didn't expect to find anyone again. I just expected to... exist. There was no point after... There just wasn't anything that could take away the hurt," I said."

And this quote is saying a handful here. You practically had me sobbing like a 10 year old there.

            "He's given me so much more than I can even imagine, Mike. You'd be a good friends, I know. He can be a silly boy sometimes, but I love that about him. And he loves me. I mean really loves me. It doesn't matter about, you know. He loves me completely. I'm whole when I am with him. And I haven't had that since you. He's helped me through."

From Rob to Jen..."   I love you more than anything. Truly." That's the epitome. I can't help but love your Rob even more.

One last note. Please let Jen get well...I don't think I can take a broken-hearted Rob. that would absolutely break me.

let's see- her humor... you know deep down she is the deep and loving lady we know, but there is just the crust of quirky about her you just gotta love! and really, her inner dialogue is so like the inner fan girl in all of us. I am so glad you can relate to her (i thought i was the only one! haha)

yeah, every relationship has its rough patches, and they have only been together a few months now...there is so much to learn and adjust to. What makes their relationship so special is the ability forgive. now if they could jsut open up a little more and talk more.... that would be great!

 

Ah Jen loves Mike. She will never stop. and while he may be gone physically, he will always be with her in her heart. Rob will never replace him in her heart, he has his own special place. never a comparison. she is blessed to have found love twice.

Rob... he loves her, more than anything. That's important to remember. she is more important than his career and his friends, i wouldn't say family... i think she should stand beside them in that regard, but most certainly his career.. that's important.

Jen's illness... yes, she will be seeing someone soon... i promise. and this story WILL have a HEA... just saying.

WOW!!  I can't tell you the emotions that this chapter is stirring in me.  My husband is active duty military.  He's back from a tour in Afghanistan and looking to another one next year. 

Reading this chapter reminds me that I haven't visited my daughter's grave since her funeral.  She died in 1996 at the age of 9 months from meningitis.  It hurts too much.  I have 3 beautiful children, but a lost child can not be replaced.  Your story holds a special place in my heart.  It fills a void caused by loss and a distant husband.

Thank you for sharing it.  Still looking forward to Rob's side of everything!  I hope you finish it!

I understand completely about the emotions. My first was a Marine. There is no way to truly describe the love and dedication, as well as the fear that comes with being involved with a soldier. Some of Jen's emotions, absolutely, I compare them to some of what i felt with my first. 

It is so hard to try to recover from a loss. There is always a piece of you that will be theirs. I am so sorry for your loss. 

Jen is lucky enough to have found someone in Rob, not someone to replace Mike by any means, but someone who can complete her.

Always happy to share this journey, I am so grateful for the wonderful readers here who are taking the journey with us.

an emotional rollercoaster to be sure for her, and for him... I haven't gotten close to this point in the story from his side, but can only think about how hard it must be to be in a house by yourself, trapped in your obligations, and the one you love is across the sea, suffering.... not sure if i am going to enjoy writing that part to be honest.

Oh ... there will be sexspender times... and then of course there's Bel AMi sexspenders, and WFE sexspenders... good lord, he should only be allowed to wear pants with sexspenders....JS
