Steph, Steph, Steph...I love you so much, for this soul-gripping, gut wrenching and heartfelt chapter. It was a mixture of turmoil, hopelessness, anxiety, revelations and love thrown together into a mind blowing interpretation. Gah...I don't even have the words. I'm numb, but your ending makes me cry, because I'm relieved that they are together again.
Now I'm gonna have this heartache follow me for the next few days...thinking about our sweet and fragile, yet strong Jen, and our going out of his mind Rob,.
I love your characters so much Steph. Right now I'm in a semi -sad way...if that makes any sense.
This must have been one of the hardest chapters to write, and I applaud you.
Love ya lady...thank you for all your long nights banging on your keyboard.

What an amazing chapter! I wasn't really expecting Rob to show up, so that was a nice surprise. I certainly felt every emotion that Jen was experiencing, you did an excellent job with that. Can't wait to read the next chapter, they never come quick enough to feed my addiction to your story.

My heart was breaking along with hers. To have gone through so much in one lifetime is so wrong for so many reasons. When she lost the baby I cried like one. Oh what a journey you have taken me on. Well, old age is kicking in and I've been reading all day so I'm gonna let my poor tired eyes rest awhile. But before I go, you have me intrigued. Where did you see Sam Bradley? Was it in LA? And just how close were you to HHH? Was Kris with you? She mentioned the two of you were going to be in Beverly Hills. LUCKY ladies! Hope you had TONS of fun chasing away the paps.

HHH walked right past me- within a foot. i coulda tripped him, then caught him... but i didn't... he looked great, and happy.
Kris was not there for Sam, but came out for Bobby on Friday, I had to duck out at the last minute- my son got sick and my hubs is out of town... sad sigh... Bobby was only here for one night... ah well.
and yes. I had a GREAT time yelling at the paps. I'd take a face full of flash any day for the Pretty.

The entire chapter I was thinking- "Where's Rob?" I waited for him to show up at the hospital- but he didn't... Then I thought she was going to tell him over the phone- but she couldn't... When they got to the apartment I thought- he's there... and he wasn't. I thought she would call at the beach and she did, but he was gone... Then she went back to the apartmant and finally he was there- and I cried.
yeah, I was watching the scroll bar on the side. I didn't want the chapter to end without her seeing Rob. They need each other- she needs him and thank god!
I have never experienced the pain of not being able to have kids, but through your writing I feel Jen's pain and anxiety and though sometimes I find it frustrating-- because to me Rob already has accepted that they can't have kids, so why would he leave her now?-- I understand her insecurities as a woman.
Author's Response: thanks hun... the whole chapter i was writing it, saying "Rob get over here dammit!"
but she had to process, she had to see the bottom and start her crawl back up.
Jen is incredibly insecure about the baby thing. something she needs to work out for herself, with the support of Rob. She takes his age and maturity in her head rather than her heart. he loves her... and always will.

Wow. Jen's emotional pain is so palpable I can feel it. I was really starting to worry that she was going under. Thank heavens she found her inner strength. Great idea to have Nick show her the Details shoot to illustrate the trauma Rob was feeling at that time. That's exactly what I thought when I first saw it...his eyes looked vacant, like his mind wasn't there. So thrilled that he has come to LA for her. I hope he understands...the waiting for their talk about this is killing me! Can't wait for the next chapter! Would love a preview if you can manage it. :)

I was so glad you had Nick metaphorically slap her with the Details mag. I was with her in her depression up until this chapter but this one just felt so toxic emo. It was painful to read in a really bad way. But you totally turned it around with her seeing the pics and her beach alone time. It felt like Jen came back. And the surprise of Rob being there was such a nice way to end the chapter. Thank you for that. It was definitely needed after so much to deal with. I hope it won't be too long til the next update. Please!
Author's Response: thanks hun. yeah she had spiralled into the very dark place. Nick did good giving her that magazine. it was the cold water, the slap she needed. and the beach. a great way to clear the mind to see what is really important. Rob and Jen.

Absolutely amazing, I was finding it hard to breath as I continued to read, so much raw emotion. She really was wrecked and hadn't dealt with it, it's a mazing to me that this (the loss of their child) didn't send her over the edge....she's definitely tettering.... but my god what a strong woman. Half way into it I wondered if he'd just say f...k it I'm flying to LA, I NEED to be with HER... and ta da he showed up. I like his style !!! I'm so glad he came. Did Nick know he was coming ? Did Nick arrange it ??

I think I might be just a little tiny bit in love with Nick. Just a bit. I still hate him, but now I kind of admire him too , he's stepping up and doing what is right for Rob and Jen as people rather than just what's best for Rob's career. Finally. What a great character you have created, 58 chapters of character development and we are still only just begining to get his story. Of course he's only been in a few of those chapters, but still! You know I like me some Nick....!
Such a lovely surprise to see Rob in LA. I wanted to hug him myself. Well, I always do. ( Have you seen those new pics of him? Absolutly georgous!)
And Jen. Poor Jen. But she has always been strong before so I'm sure she will be ok. and now that Robs there she wont have to wait any longer to tell him everything and he can hug her and help make things better. Sigh.
A really tough chapter for you to write, and i should think the next couple will be too. I just so want these two to be able to get on with their lives together without any more angst. They've had enough. And it's not just Rob and Jen who suffer, it's we readers too!No lovey fluff from OTT either, so it's double stress. I can't imagine what it's like to have to write it!
I was thinking of Bel Ami this afternoon, wondering if any more publicity shots might start to be released. Prehaps if we all cross our fingers and wish really, really hard we might be lucky!
It's one in the morning, got to get some sleep. could ramble on here for hours, but had better not!
