Author's Response: LOL! well, I will say I have future chapters written for Water for Elephants... i do intend to take this thru Eclipse opening...
now.... knowing my wordy ass.... that could be between 15-50 chapters... LOL! we are closer to the end than the beginning. but i have promised myself not to count chapters... i get stressed out otherwise... this silly little story has grown into much more than i had ever thought it would be...the end was always on the radar, its the in between that has grown and flourished.
so many more to come (maybe just not 68 more)....

Did I tell you earlier that the hubby is from the same town as Anthony Hopkins?
Sir Anthony built a rec center there with a focus on live music from local talent. Growing up my hubby's band played there frequently. He met him a couple of times.
I have read so much that I forget to comment on something until chapters later... Like how Clooney is a Sex God- the Zeuss to Rob's Hercules.... yeah, I'm a dork...
But the Leah meeting went so awesomely! :-D I would have drooled. Unless I was inebriated, then i'd have been fine... lol

Author's Response: thanks my dear, like I said, I really didn't want to make this one of those things that is simple and fixed in one chapter. its a healing process, and something both of them will need to deal with.
some of Jen's reaction to not telling Rob right away is fear, is trying to cushion and protect (as she always seems to do) and her own safety mechanism.

Maybe a little TMI here, but my youngest, and final of the three, Frank, was my 11th pregnancy.
I had no problem GETTING pregnant, it was STAYING pregnant. So yeah, I get this, hard.
Thank you for having the "balls" to write this realistically.
Author's Response: thank you dear. this was important to me to write. for those that had similar experiences, i did not want to belittle the experience or her feelings. it was vital to me that she wasn't miraculously pregnant and the world was beautiful again.
one of the hardest and most fearful decisions i have made in this story. but planned from so early on. when this posted, I was terrified, because it is one of those things people don't write about, or if they do they make it so trivial or ambiguous, it makes the experience less than realistic for those that have gone thru it.
so many have shared their stories, thank you for sharing yours with me.

Loved the A/N at the end… people seem to forget that first person POV is skewed. Clearly she would project onto his reaction. Deep down, she knew he took it badly or she wouldn’t have run out of the bathroom in her underwear! It still has to be incredibly difficult for him, though, since he really doesn’t see his relationship with Summit clearly. He believes he owes them a great deal, but doesn’t see how much they owe him. They’re in balance, or maybe even owing him more than the other way around, but his view of his own contributions is probably lower than it should be.
I’m glad she faced the day and finally realized that she’d essentially been kidnapped, assaulted, and subjected to terroristic threats. Bad voodoo, that. If it takes formal charges to get her to see that, then good. I missed feisty Jen, and I’m glad she’s back.
Clare disappointed me. As you saw with my last review, I expected her to be the most ferocious of she-bears. Her reaction was more businesslike than I expected. I think I credited her with reacting to her grown son, and not her little boy. Oh well… it happens, right? They don’t always do what you want when you’re writing, so certainly it’s bound to happen to me as a reader. *sigh*
I’m glad they’re heading home. I bet you get some squicked out responses to period sex. Get over it, people. We’ve all done it. At least, I assume we all have. I think Rob needed to know she wasn’t fragile, and that’s always been their way of proving their resilience. It had to happen.
Now there’s no “Next” for me to click. *sniff* It’s good to be caught up, but I still want more. Take your time, though. You’re already working too hard!
Author's Response: thanks my dear. some of why i love first person so much is it limits our perception of things. its how the character sees it, even though we as readers can gather our own assumptions about what might have happened in the living room with Rob. She certainly knows he is upset. jsut one more thing for him to digest and work on.
The Summit/Rob relationship is quiet intricate i think. and i think he knows it. But i agree i think he may undervalue his importance to them and what he can contribute. But he will be looking at firming up his resolve regarding his private affairs in regards to his movies with them. i think Propaganda and (why cant i think of the company that filmed WFE?!) are far more lenient on what rob does on his off hours. I think summit really does have interests that are twisted in regards to Robsten
Clare... discussed it in the last review, but i also think she was trying to stifle any issues that could come up while in the states. yes... you can't go against the characters when they look at you with the nutley stare..... sigh....
yeah...period sex. first it is a way for them to work thru this fragile air, she isn't. and i think rob also needed to prove to jen that he loves her, no matter what. nothing will keep him from loving her.

i need to proof a few times... try to get it up (twss) by this weekend. ... yeah... trying to rebuffer with 2 weeks of tech coming up... and a RT2010 rob screaming in my ear that he has been wronged.... sigh... shut it brit boy... i'll get to you....
