Oh my, role playing with DuRob.  How much fun would that be?  I love Jen and her girls.  Can't wait to find out exactly what the plan is.

Rob was so beautiful in navy.  He is beautiful in anything.  Can't wait for WFE.  I think this is going to be really great for him.  He is truly a gifted actor,  and will just get better with time.

Aww Sick Rob;<

Great chapter.

Can't wait to see what happens with Jen and Rob in Budapest.

Got a question for you?

How far are you taking this story ( don't worry I'm not bored at all ;> ). After Bel Ami there is Water For Elephants, then the Eclipse madness, and the Breaking Dawn filming.

Mara

Wow, that music room scene did not disappoint! Verra hot indeed!

It makes me crazy to think that Rob's private life is likely close to as nightmarish as how you portray it. He is such a sweet man, and deserves the best life has to offer. My heart actually sank when the news came out that Breaking Dawn was going to be two movies, and that the second instalment wasn't being released until Nov. 2012, which means they're stuck with Scummit's prized moneymaker for nearly two more years. While I know Rob and Kristen want their private lives to be just that, I'm sure they both wish they could be more free to show what they feel in public if they felt like it. I think things are loosening up, finally, but I wish they could be a normal couple, in love, telling anyone who will listen how happy they are to have found each other. I loved how Rob talked about his anxiety about falling in love to the French interviewer on the New Moon press tour, hiding it behind the Twilight story: "it's a good metaphor about the fear you can feel about the real commitment of a relationship, when you come to realize that this relationship is really important and not just a fling. You're thinking 'If I begin this, is it gonna be for life? Or will one of us end up with a broken heart if we leave each other?"

But back to your story, I loved that Jen is truly taking care of Rob in the best sense...being there for him emotionally and physically, but also doing the mundane, selfless things like making his mum's chicken soup to help him get better. It's such a nourishing relationship on both sides, just heartwarming to read.

I didn't realize that April 2010 was when he switched to WME...or is that dramatic license? I like that they are beginning to discuss his career and these important decisions as true partners. You've laid such a great, solid foundation for these two. Can't wait to read about Budapest! Until then I will be waiting impatiently for more casting news on Cosmopolis and hoping and praying the Jeff Buckley rumour is true and comes to fruition. Although DuRob is going to stagger me, Rob singing Hallelujah on screen would finish this h00r off for good. Do we dare to hope?

Author's Response:

Thanks so much my dear!

So glad I could finally post this! LOL!

Oh the privacy thing.... really one day, I hope he can have it. They truly deserve some peace and quiet.

Let's see, Rob was with Endeavor with Stephanie, which was then absorbed into William Morris I believe last summer. I have taken some dramatic license with him leaving Curtis Brown. I haven't been able to find updated info on whether he is with them (although press releases for cosmopolis have stated he is with WME and 3 Arts....hmmm. 3 Arts is an interesting company....)

oh my goodness. I don't think i could survive the jeff buckley bio pic. but what a way to go, if Bel Ami and WFE don't kill me!

thanks my dear!

Don't have to respond to this, but what a great chapter! So much has happened, I think it warrants a second read.

Love to see Jen's "posse" in action...

So happy with Rob dumping the scumbags for something better (hopefully).

I can't wait to see what happens in Budapest!

And a little DuRoyRob is always tasty... and a little juicy... topped with chocolate sauce and whipped cream... ah hell, I think I just made my prego-self hungry again.

I thought RM was a great movie. I knew how it ended, and it was probably better that I did, because I cried anyway.  I really liked hearing Jen's take on it.  Sorry for the super-short review, but my vacation ate into my fic reading time, and I need to catch up!

*sigh* I knew the ending while I was reading this and still teared up with anticipation of Jen finding out.

I love how much his security team takes care of her. :)  She did AWESOME on the red carpet.  And the picture taking in the car was just perfect.  They were just Jen and Rob - normal, silly cell phone pictures. :)

The end made me cry more too - I was just so overwhelmed by how in love they are with each other... (hello, pregnancy hormones).  They have been through so much and they are slowly starting to make their way out to the other side.  It was amazing, as always.

I PROMISE next update won't take me so long to read - I still have an OTT!

xoxoxo

Love you!

LOVED it! I loved how she told it how it was to the Celebrity Truth woman. That was so perfect! I also think you wrote her reaction to the movie wonderfully. I wasn't able to review the last chapter but want to also say that I love that Jen isn't just sitting around with things, but that she's making plans and attacking any way she can. It definitely makes the fact that they aren't able to "come out" yet more bearable! :)

Absolutely loving your story but that is nothing new. I love that everyone can see parts of themselves in Jen. That makes your story so believable!

Do you know what's pretty sad? After I've seen the pictures of Rob with the baby on the set of WFE I thought "I wonder how Jen will react in the story upon seeing those!" ;o)

Author's Response:

not so sad in the least! :) I saw them last night and my heart and ovaries are in overdrive. Immediately i was in Jen's head. How adorable he was! and with their history. I may have been a little teary last night. good tears though. :)

thank you so much! Jen really is a bit of us. So glad you are enjoying!

Jen is one badass.  Too cool the way she just waltzed in and made her demands.  You go girl.  I just loved experiencing RM through Jen's eyes.  I just loved RM too.  He was just amazing in it.  I think I cried harder the third time I saw it in the theater.   It gets better everytime you see it.  Cosmopolis should be great.  It will be a great role for Rob.

Author's Response:

She's seeing that there are more important things in life. Things worth fighting for. Living for. Rob is that thing.

Ah Remember Me. That movie gets better with each viewing, it truly does. And i am proud to say i saw it in the theatres more times than the Twilight movies.... combined. Such a fabulous movie. He has such an amazing future ahead of him.

Can't wait for WFE. i think that will finally show people he is so much more than Edward Cullen. And now Cosmopolis! That will be incredible! So looking forward to that!

thanks my dear!

Beautiful chapter!
I love that Jen had kept herself spoiler free.
I knew the ending to Remember Me before I saw it and sometimes wonder when I watch it now, what it would have been like to go in to see it without knowing the ending, if I would have viewed it differently because I wouldn't have known what was coming (but knowing, I was prepared and took tissues with me to the cinema).
Just reading the end of this chap made me start crying because it is such a beautiful and tragic movie and Rob and Emilie were amazing! I really do hope that more roles like this, WFE, Bel Ami and Cosmopolis will show the doubters that he's so much more than 'that dude from Twilight'.
I am not an American but I've visited Ground Zero twice (first time was 1 month before the first anniversary) and I love NYC, so when I see something related to it, it breaks my heart like it was yesterday and I would have a hard time imagining what it would have been like to be an American seeing that movie without knowing the ending but you wrote Jen's emotions perfectly and made me feel it with her all over again.
Much love and keep up the good work xo

Author's Response:

Thanks so much my dear!

It was truly important for her to go in with as little prejudice and information as possible. She wanted the full experience.

I often wonder what it would have been like to go in knowing the end. I'm glad I was surprised, even with the greasy Popcorn napkins as my only way of wiping away the tears! It was just stunning. On so many levels. I still cry.

I am so excited to see Rob in WFE, it's getting such great press. Maybe then people will see. Not everyone needs to like him, but i think the stigma of Twilight guy will finally start to diminish with WFE coming out (and the end of BD filming)

I haven't visited Ground Zero yet. Still a little difficult to imagine the towers gone. Just seeing them missing from the skyline in films hurts.

One day.

Thanks so much my dear. I truly appreciate your support! It means the world to me!

God Steph, I don't even know where to start with this chapter.:) I waited until I actually had some quiet time to read it, so it would get my full attention. It's how I am with this story in particular anyway, but I am so glad that I did wait, because you took me right back to where I was, when I saw Remember Me the first time. I also went into it, without knowing the ending, at my first viewing. I knew that 9/11 was involved, but didn't know how Rob's character was related. I was overwhelmed at how fabulous he was. I was drawn in completely from the moment I saw him in his red T on the stoop. I was so proud that I actually watched the DVD with my husband, because I just really wanted him to see just how Rob could pull something off.

There are so many favorite chapters in this story for me, but this chapter really is taking the top spot. For a lot of different reasons, mainly because of Jen's strength in the beginning, followed by her tenderness with Rob at the end. It probably helps that there was some "loving" in the middle, plus Jen's continued support of his fans, just by reminded Rob of their utter devotion to him. (I remembered thinking at the time, that Rob was extremely cool with his fans during his promotion of RM) I am still wiping tears away, while typing this. You really are amazing by the way...

I also have to say, that I have this incredible feeling that when Water for Elephants comes out, people's perception of Rob will be completely different. I still get emotional when I see the trailer for it. Overwhelmingly proud of him already.

Author's Response:

Thanks my dear!

Ah Remember Me was such a moving movie, not just for Rob, but the meaning of it. Live every day. I was drawn in from the beginning, just like you. There is so much talent in that man, I can't wait until WFE opens and people can see how incredible he really is.

Rob's dedication to his fans was so incredible during this time, I'll say, the entire premier part of this story was written all the way back on the day of the RM UK premier. Watching him with his fans, taking the extra time and smiling and laughing (and sneezing and wiping his nose), it was truly inspiring to know that this man knows his fans care. And Jen supports that. Maybe why she has fears about what they will think. One day she'll realize that the fans that matter will embrace the idea of Rob being happy at finding love. No matter who it may be.

So proud of that man. So many wonderful opportunities to come.

Thank you so much my dear. Your wonderful words bring me to tears, and inspire me to keep going. Thanks so much!

Okay so I was one of those that didn't read the script, refused the spoilers, the whole bit.  Went to see the movie and I was just so bloody moved the entire time!!  Being an American that was thrust into that memory during that movie just killed me.  And seeing the characters not as just characters but as real people that I knew... it just... there are no words to describe that realization.  In all honesty, I wasn't paying much attention to the hints through out the movie.  I didn't really realize the ending until little sister was picked up for school by her dad.... then it just kinda sparked the memory of that day.

I think that his talent is growing with his age.  I've already seen the first cut of Water for Elephants, and I have to tell you, I think it will just blow everyone away!! :)

As for the story, you've got such a realistic style.  I feel like Jen is one of my best girl friends and these are things she shares with me over a bottle of wine once a week while her beau is working.  I love it.  I thoroughly enjoy your updates, thank you for sharing your story with us.

Author's Response:

This movie has made it's mark on me. Truly, only a spectacular script and incredible cast can do that. I was riveted. from the start. I still cry, and i am still awed every time i see it.

His talent has definitely grown as he had aged, as he works with tremendous peers and directors. He will go far, as long as we are there to watch what he does (no fear there i know he has a sizable fan base that sees him fro the wonderful actor and not the vampire boy)

I cannot wait for WFE! he will shine. I just know it!

Thank you so much, to know that the characters feel realistic is truly the best compliment a write can get. it means so much to me to have readers like you that enjoy the story, but who feel a little something more. it makes it all worth while!

thank you so much!

I knew something bad was going to happen when Caroline's teacher wrote September 11, 2001 on the chalk board though probably should've noticed something was going to happen when he was doing the shadow puppets like Jen did.

I cannot wait to see his future movies either!

Can't wait for the next chapter!!

MWAH!

-@jada_defreitas

Author's Response:

Jen's realization at the shadow puppets was maybe instinctual. Here is this guy, finally found love, finally happy in his life, maybe even understanding that with his brother's death, it is a wake up call to live life. Life is precious.

The idea that Tyler sees that as he looks over his love, to make her his forever... My heart clenched. He had finally found it, and i knew somehow, it would be tested, or lost. from there it just continued to point where it went. I still cry. so many viewings later.

And for an actor to convey that.... well, he is THAT good. I truly is.

And Water for Elephants will truly kill me. I cannot wait to see him shine in that movie!

thanks so much my dearest!
