I like your Jake...he is really what a best friend should be without the love-triangle stuff. And Alice...well you can tell from my screen name that I love that little pixie.

Roosevelt Blvd? Native Jacksonville?? LOL!! Good start!

Please tell Edward that there is no need to be shy. I'm sure Bella could benefit from his medical expertise! :P

Seriously though, Bella needs to let Alice help her. She's been through hell and I have a feeling that when it all comes tumbling out of her we're going to need lots of tissues.

Nice to see Jake paired up with Leah and not just miserable and alone. I like the way you are portraying Jake. Too many stories make him out to be such a bad guy.

I like your first chapter. You've set the story well but left some mystery, especially concerning the accident.  I like what a "different take" this is shaping up to be, even though she still comes to Fork.

And to the people who are like, "OMG where's Edward?" I say shush. My story doesn't have Edward for a few chapters in, either. I appreciate you taking the time to develop the story and not be so anxious to just rush, even thoug the fandom as a whole can sometimes be quite impatient.

I appreciate your thoughts on not rushing Edward, it definitely makes me feel better about having him wait. I originally was going to have him show up in Chapter 2, but Bella demanded her say for the first few chapters.

CHAPTER 2!!!!!! I have to say, I love that you didn't make Jake the token pushy love sick sleaze that doesn't know when he's being rejected.  I love this Jake and Bella!  I really like the fact that you've made Leah his fiance.  Great job on creating a different J/B relationship than the norm in the fandom!  I can't wait to read chapter 3.  I'm even more anxious now that you've brought my favorite Cullen in!!!!

I'm so glad you're enjoying Jake and Bella's relationship!  There's definitely going to be no romance between those two; strickly best friends/brother/sister.
