I enjoyed his pov- it was nice to understand why he was acting like a bit of a dick in Bella's pov.

I don't think Edward will need to *do* much to make Bella realize what's going on between them. The real problem is figuring out a) the real nature of Jake/Bellas relationship, b) how to spend time with her - and time away from work and c) how to avoid the evil witch, Tanya. Thanks for the update!
Author's Response: Bella's definitely attracted to Edward (even if she hasn't realized it yet) but getting her to admit it to him and everyone else is going to be a bit of a struggle (our girl is a bit stubborn in my head!) But you're in my Edward's head, because that's exactly his game plan! :)

I'm really enjoying your story, despite the sadness so far.
Author's Response: Joe IS scum and Bells recognizes that now. We'll see him again (briefly) in future chapters, but in the long run, she'll realize what a favor he did her - even when he had really crappy timing.

I love Edward as a lovestruck bumbling idiot-ok,not bumbling idiot-but obviously affected emotionally-as well as physically-we're not talking just lust-I like the way you bring out the fact that Bella affects Edward on a deeply emotional level-would like to see more of that-that can lead to the physical-but it is refreshing to see this reaction targeted and not so much the physical-that should come as a result of the other-
I think Edward will be thinking with his heart rather than his head- and this will lead to confusion on Bella's part. Maybe he will try to pass off his interest as friendship-the stronger the bond between E and B -the more Edward will come to realize how shallow his relationship with Tanya is-- forgive me for running at the mouth-I should just write my own story-you are doing great@
Author's Response: Oh Annie, you've made my night! Thank you for "getting" Edward - he was physically attracted to Bella when he first met her (he was a college kid so yeah...) but now there's more and he's not sure why. He's going to explore that in his next chapter and I'll just let you know you're on the right track.

Author's Response: LOL. I didn't originally write Emmett messing with Edward, but as I went back to edit, it kinda came out - and I'm so glad it did! It was one of my favorite parts and Emmett is definitely going to bust his brother's ass about Bella for awhile. :)

I can't believe that Edward met Jacob before and Bella is the only one he even rememebers...especially if he was always hanging out at the Cullen's home when E was home from college.
How long will Em play with Edward? Will he keep it up or call him on his BS about his feelings towards Bella?
Author's Response: Guess it just goes to show you (and Emmett and Edward) just how much Bella affected Edward when they met oh so long ago.
Emmett's gonna play with Edward for awhile, cuz that's just what he does. But when push comes to shove (and God knows Em loves to shove his brother into pulling his head out of his butt) he'll call him on his BS. That's one thing Emmett can be counted on for.
