Esme's reaction towards the Tanya situation at the store was Tanya fully knew what a scene she was creating.  She did it deliberately to get at both Bella and Edward.  It had nothing to do with Alice and her shop.  If she knew where the two of them would be she'd have made an appearance.  Jake getting mad and being disrespectful towards Bella, I could understand Edward's reaction and tone.  He was protecting her from disrespect, but he went to far saying Bella wasn't leaving to talk to him.  That was crossing the line for Bella.  Understandable she wants to be independent and make her own decisions.  She told both Jake and Edward that they both had crossed her boundaries.  She laid it out on how she expected them to behave.  She loves them both.  Both would do anything possible to protect or help her in any situation.  Leah being pregnant.  Was a surprise.  Bella leaving to get her head together after Tanya and the argument between Edward and Jake.  She needed to deal with the information and the tension.  Edward being called in because someone else had a family emergency.  Esme surprised me the most her reaction to Tanya and his schemes.  She isn't buying it.  She has her doubts.  The talk with Edward and Bella over the weekend will be interesting.  Rose has doubts it is even Edward's.  Even Jake brought it up she would name him if desperate.  Since Edward's trust fund is also in the mix along with becoming a doctor like her.  A baby will place a big damper on Tanya and her career.  Looking forward to the next chapters.

Esme is not a dumb woman, and I think she's able to see things a bit better than either Edward or Bella right now, as she's not in the middle of this mess. I think everyone outside the situation is able to see it for what it is, but it's a bit harder when it's your life that's being affected. It's all going come to a head very quickly, so I hope you'll enjoy how it plays out.

I've been waiting patiently for this to update here.  I read this on FF but I've been "talking" to you here and didn't want to confuse you.

I re-read the outtakes over the weekend, and this right here is why I don't trust Tanya even if her pregnancy story is plausible:  "This isn't over, Edward. You've made the biggest mistake of your life tonight. You will regret this."  Esme seems to be right on the same page with me where Dr. Jackson is concerned, and I trust her mother's intuition as well as her female intuition.  She had an instant aversion to her from the get go.  There's something about Tanya's type that Esme seems to know well.  Tanya waltzed into a family dinner, and she innocently walked into Alice's store during the weekend of the store opening.  Nothing is innocent with that woman.  I really think that she doesn't take defeat well at all and is vindictive to an abnormal degree.  If she can't have Edward, she'll do what she can to destroy his relationship with Bella.  I cannot get the image of Tanya's hand on Edward's arm out of my head.  That was not innocent.  That was calculated.

Kudos to Bella for holding strong for herself in the face of the warring alpha male pack.  She didn't let anything fester and had the conversations she needed to have.  I am worried about her hip.  I hope that doesn't become a big issue. 

And Charlie - I don't think he's going to be very happy with the "news," but I hope he and Esme have some conversations.  Those two could explore some angles together.  I am hoping that overall Charlie supports Bella and her choice, though I'm sure he wouldn't want his daughter to be involved in this messy situation.

What - if anything - Tanya is up to will come out either next chapter (21) or in the beginning of chapter 22. I'm leaning toward next chapter, but I'm waiting on the opinion of Beta #1. LOL. I think she's going to agree with me though. 

Don't worry too much about Bella's hip...I'd tell you more, but that would give things away, and I wouldn't want to do that. I will say it will factor in somewhere at some point, but it's nothing to get concerned about. (The hip anyway...)

The story starts out with a bang.  Having Bella in the hospital in a coma dreaming of the events leading up to the accident.  Just listening to Charlie and his anguish over losing Renee and almost Bella.  Charlie loves for his daughter has no bounds.  So hard for both Bella and Charlie with having Bella recover from the accident and also Charlie's best friend Billy dying.  Double whammy for them both.  Alice and Jake arrived to be with her.  Joe what a jerk.  Bella had been awake for 24 hours and he tells her it's not going to work out with them.  He doesn't even want to try to make them work.  Her accident and the consequences are something he can't handle in his life.  Big slap in her face after 5 years of being with him.  Joe really didn't have any feelings for her, she almost died and all he thinks about his himself.  Hello low life hope someone screws you over as well down the road.  When Joe needs someone to support him, hope no one is available for him either.  Bella never believes in sharing her true pains, worries, concerns, griefs, and loss.  She always buries things deep inside and can't figure out why she has minimal explosions of emotional upheaval.  Edward is the only one who knows some of her secrets.  Things she hasn't shared with her dad, Alice, Jake. Edward living with Emmett in Seattle.  Edward is finishing his residency.  Dating a skank Tanya.  Who must love to be exhabitionist at heart.  Always wanting to have sex in secret places in the hospital with concern about being caught.  Must add to her excitement.  Since they are both close to finishing their residency doing things like that could cause a ruin in your career.  Inappropriate behavior while working isn't worth the excitement.  Bella is a favorite among Alice's family.  Tanya is hated by Emmett and Rosalie.  Alice decided she had to remain near her family and friends.  She will be opening her own clothing boutique.  She gets Bella to move into her condo with her.  Bella is trying to obtain a position in teaching English at either high school or college level.  On their first weekend after they move into Seattle condo Carlise and Charlie visit.  Carlisle took her resume and gave to a friend at the University and was passed to English department.  Bella got a job.  Good job Carlisle.  Carlisle's networking sure helped Bella a lot.  Edward was right though, Carlisle was able to help open the door, but Bella sold herself and landed the position.  During the dinner of the families, Tanya shows up at the restuarant and claims to be Edward's girlfriend.  Implying they have been dating 5 years.  Only dating months, just knew each other from their residencies.  She had the nerve to introduce herself to Edward's parents.  Esme's instant reaction was not the usual Esme.  Then when Tanya called her by her first name, she coldly told Tanya she was Mrs Cullen.  Esme's instant interpretation of her was on base.  Of course, Edward's parents were upset about not even knowing this woman.  The same night he told her it was over.  Don't talk to me unless it is work related.  Tanya really ticked him off as well as slapped his face.  Not a smart move if she really wanted to attempt to get back with Edward.  She killed any type of relationship between them, no friends, no lovers, no acquaintances, just speaking if working on a common patient.  Edward told Bella he had broken up with Tanya.  He has begun to date Bella.  Both are enjoying the others' company.  Bella is opening up to Edward with things she hasn't even told anyone else in life. She is able to cry with him.  Release some of the emotions she has buried and resolve the issues.  Edward and Bella have been talking about issues that have and are occurring.  Their anniversary weekend in Victoria was absolutely wonderful.  Made love for the first time and relaxing time together. Great since they learn that Tanya is pregnant and claiming it was Edward's.  Edward is afraid Bella will leave him.  Bella is afraid Edward's duty will have him leaving her.  Both have made promises to remain together.  Alice has learned and asked to have her weekend grand opening not be ruined with the drama.  That was the goal, but Tanya walking into the boutique and being confronted by Edward caused the family to notice her.  Her placing her hand on her belly made everyone on board with what is going on.  I feel so bad for Alice.  Like Edward I believe she did it on purpose to make a scene.  She definitely has made a scene and now Alice's grand opening has been tarnished.  I still don't think it's Edward's child.  I think she was cheating on him and using him as scapegoat.  He has always been protected.  Not a large risk of it being his.  He wants to have children with Bella.  Bella wants them also.  But can she even have children.  Was that the information Charlie stopped the doctor from giving her when she first woke up from her coma.  It would have been too much for her to handle on top of the loss of her mother and Phil.  Her pain was so emotional and physical, Bella can't grieve and deal with them.  She is afraid it will totally break her.  She can't be needy, she can't lose control, she has to fake she's fine.  No one believes it though, they can see the differences in her.  Her mood changes, her nightmares, her lost in thoughts, etc.... Looking forward to reaction of Edward's parents, the ending to Alice's opening.  Bella's reaction to the fake surprise of arriving at the store.  Tanya is such a liar and a fraud.

First, I'm sorry it took so long, I'm sorry please don't punish me.

K, I knew Bella's secret about the dreams would come out and I'm glad Edward now knows. I think Esme handle telling him real well and I think he took it well too. I'm glad he's not upset that she hide it from him, but he needs to understand that even if he had paid more attention and asked more questions I don't think Bella would have willingly told or let him find out that she is still suffering from the accident.

I loved Akice's reaction to the Tanya news. And I must say I am split down the middle. I can't decide if Alice or Edward is right. I agree with Alice that most women have it so engrain in their lives to take their pill, but I know that I have missed a pill before due to real life getting in the way. Also what Edward says about her seems to led you to believe she wouldn't do something like that to herself. So I'm just going to wait and hope for the best. I do believe she's pregnant just not sure if it is Edward's or was planned.

I loved thaat Edward planned to wait to tell his parents till after Alice's big day, but what do they say about the best laid plans... I don't know if Tanya actually planned to crash Alice's opening but dshe seemed really shocked and uncomfortable so it may have just been a chance meeting that has bad repurcussions. I can't wait for the next chapter to see what Esme has to say cause I have afeeling she has plenty to say after figuring out Tanya is pregnant with Edward's baby. I hope Jake stays quite. I thought Bella handled seeing Tanya real well, but wouldn't blame her for being upset about the touch.

Oh and I was right, someone did want them to get pregnant, shame on him. They are not ready for that and it would just cause more problems right now, plus I have a bad feeling think about Bella getting pregnant right now. Like is she actually able too, is she suppost too. Car wrecks can cause many things, I know someone who had to have a hystriatamy(I know I mispelled that one) because of the scar tissue made it life threatening for her to get pregnant and she knew she wouldn't beable to choice her life over her child so she just made sure she would never be in that postion. And that of course is in the back of my mind with Bella still having secrets to be revealed. But I could just be overthinking it again, like I'm prone too.

As to the cliffy, that is just mean and wrong but I still love you and hope Bella starts talking soon. Oh, and I voted for you but don't know who won, I have to go check that still cause I was hopin my girls won. Take care and thanks for the chapter and letting me help. I still fell giddy over that.
