It's good that Irene came before it all happened. She is a friend that knows, yet not a vampire. Bella can share her thoughts with her quite freely.
Again, I repeat my previous sentiments, I hope Bella neither feels intense fear nor intense pain, whatever has to happen to get her to be forever with Edward.
Author's Response: I won't say too much about it, but yes, Irene is a good person for Bella to talk to about things.

I love Charlie and his Ed-reference. All of the converdation actually, I think you have captured his essence.
Of course, I was expecting Alice's vision to return, but it nontheless makes my stomach churn. Whatever and whenever it is, I hope Bella won't be overly scared or hurting. And I also hope that Edward can cope. This last conversation here, makes it clear again that he is not ready yet, vene less than her.

Great conversation with Irene. I wonder if she's thinking, though, that Irene knows about the vampires too, now, and is human and is therefore possibly subject to the same penalties that Bella is? Isn't that a "yikes" moment?

Author's Response: As a "wolf girl," Jake's imprint, Irene is part of the pack. The Volturi don't seem to know about the pack, and while I think they might (in this universe) possibly see them as a threat, I think they also might be very leery about coming onto La Push to attack them. So Irene would see herself as safe, and so would Bella, I think.

thank you so much for writing a believable story (about vampires no less), but even more for writing a story that has the potential to raise awareness about so many issues. i completely understand about you not being able to respond to all the reviews; you're right, as much as i'd love to hear from you (which I have, and treasure by the way) i look forward to an update asap.

Author's Response: Nope. This story doesn't really need a sequel (as you'll see). I don't have any other story ideas in mind, so I think I'll just go back to being a reader and cheerleader. That's what I've been in the past!

This story has gone beyond my wildest expectations. It has held me spellbound throughout. I always enjoy "what if" stories because they give a different scenario and I always find that quite interesting. Everything in life is open to interpetation. I love your interpretations! I much prefer this logic to Stephanie`s, it make a little more sense and I was never sold on the whole Renesme part of the Saga. And like you said even if it should be impossible for a Vampire to have an erection it is quite a bit more fun if they can hehe.

What a beautiful love story! I am sobbing into my tissue, because I am so touched. Wow, this is so well written, even though I really had issues with a handicapped Bella. I overcame them, and boy am I glad that I did. It's just wonderful. Sigh...

I really liked this chapter.
There was no single big event. Telling people about "Ed" is Big, and finding out the visions are back is Big. But, when you put all the bits and pieces together - Bella meeting Edward's co-workers, the jacuzzi, the roses, Irene and the kids are coming, Alice telling Bella about the visions - this chapter is just packed full.
The conversation between Bella, Emmett and Alice, then Bella calling Charlie afterward, as well as talking to Edward - THAT all made me nervous. Is this going to be connected to Brady/Hannah?

But yes, a lot of things happen in this chapter, in sort of non-dramatic ways.

uh oh so there's something more for Bella and the others to worry about. Charlie's warnings were highly amusing... it might be an idea for him to not find out anything until after Bella "dies" I think :S
It's been great to see this Edward so much more understanding about things and trying to match Bella on the decisions for her own safety :)
Author's Response: I think this Edward has really come to respect Bella enough to be her partner, not her daddy. :-)
And yes, more for the Cullens to worry about!

Holy cow, I'm dying to know what is up with Alice's vision! Bella crawling around wounded? Eek! I so hope she can walk if she gets changed. I'm so excited to see where this story is going, how it will wrap up. And wondering what you may have in store next in terms of stories. I'll have to make sure I put you on author alert so I see if you start anything new. =0)
