Woo Hoo Martha!! She really is going to make a huge difference in this situation, isn't she? And she sure took it well too. Maybe that's from being a person of faith? Funny that Alice thought of smashing a nickel to demonstrate her strength & I like it that she told Martha the whole story, although I don't think she mentioned Bella's marriage.
Author's Response: Actually she did explain the marriage. Remember, she talked for almost 2 hours. :-) I just didn't WRITE all that out!

Even then, Edward was still watching over her. It's a bit creepy, having an ex boyfriend and your husband carrying on a long term conversation about you without your knowledge.

Aaaaggghh! Things are moving so fast! There is no way in the world anyone could suspect Edward. And I can only imagine Charlie's reaction when he gets there.....!!
Author's Response: Actually, Rose and Edward are right -- in cases of missing (adult) women, in the large majority of the cases, it's the husband or boyfriend (or lover). Now, in Bella's case there ARE mitigating factors and WE know it's not Edward, but the police have good reason to suspect him just as a matter of course.

whew - Edward's more or less out of the woods of suspicion... really wondering about Charlie's reaction to everything but hopefully he calms down quickly with Martha there, she rocks!

I'm so curious about Alice's vision and I'm sure whatever causes it is not at all what I'm expecting. I don't know how Bella could have expected Charlie to mostly have forgotten Edward. I think it's only a matter of time before that cat's out of the bag. I'm also trying to figure out how the Hannah/Brady story might be more related to everything than it may appear. Thanks, you've put so much work into this story and it really shows.

You really give an excellent background to your characters. Some of them feel like they could step right out of the pages. Thanks for fleshing out Emmett. He's always been a favorite. =)

I'm really enjoying the frantic pace of this story. when Bella and Edward got together I thought it was almost over but i'm hooked in again desperate for the next part.
i like that you have explored the idea of the Cullens being caught in an everyday human world fiasco. the implications of which are intense.

I like your protrayal of Jacob. You didn't make him a complete arse that some people tend to do and I like that. Normal arguments between vamps and wolves, but not stupid, which I like. :)

Author's Response: I think a lot of writers take Jake's tendency to act like a 15/16-year-old hormonal boy in the book (which he is) and don't let him either grow-up or learn. This Jake is in his mid/late-20s, a father and even owns his own business. He's not going to act like teen Jake. :-D
