I was on vacation in the Caribbean and I went to an all night, all day concert.
It was the best...I fell asleep around 6AM and had a feeling someone was watching me. I woke up to one of the guys (friends) I was with staring at me,...very stalker like.

Musically: Edgar Meyer and Chris Thile. OMG those two are AMAZING together.
Just all around awesomness and showmanship: Rolling Stones - Bridges to Babylon and Alabama's Farewell tour pretty much tie for me.
Most sentimental: I saw Skynyrd perform right before Leon Wilkeson died in 2001.
I saw Neon Circus a few times and the best year was when B&D had Dwight Yokam with them.
I would rank Kid Rock in my top 5 but it was at an outdoor arena, started pouring rain the minute he stepped on stage, and I was WAAAAAAY too drunk to appreciate mud moshing. LOL!

Holy Fucking YEAH! Loved this chapter. Though Alice and Jasper were really stealthy... and really fast, sheesh! And the whole skittles/coke thing was creative. I probably wouldn't get half of their little cryptic messages. And Edward's story of his little brother is heartbreaking, but it is so cute and just amazing that he goes to "cuddle" with the newborn premies! I imagine that the program is actually real, no? I'd love to do that!

I know, I'm an old lady, but I saw Il Divo this summer and they were phenominal! I do have great memories of some of the songs you mention though.

I went to an O.A.R concert once, which was great. But once I saw the the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra directed by Bobby McFerrin...amazing. I love the Foo Fighters cover of 'Baker Street.' It would be superb if they sang that for Edward and Bella's concert! Thanks for the chapter!

And they talk to each other and not on facebook!!! Oh and now they are going to go see the Foo Fighters that is awesome!!! So on to your next question. While I haven't been to a concert other than local stuff in a while I will have to say that when I went to see Matchbox 20 it rocked!! I just love Rob Thomas!! But as cool as that was I really liked seeing My friends and BF play in front of a room full of people that was mixed with friends and fans that was really cool and I just love that!!

Awww...yay! So is this Foo Fighters show going to be kind of a date, or is it just going to be a friends thing? I really hope Edward treats it like a date. Concerts are very good first date activities :-) I'm glad he had the balls to finally ask her to do something. I was wondering when that would be. Oh, and the Skittles thing was too cute!
Best concert I've been to, hands down, 100 Monkeys--Jackson Rathbone's band. I've seen them in concert three times. I love their stage presence, and they are so sweet to their fans. Plus, I also really like how they improvise a lot of their songs. That's talent!

Great update... oohh a date! I'm so excited and jealous that these fictional characters are going to see the Foo Fighters, a band that I've yet to see live.
I've only been to a handful of concerts, but the best one I've been to so far was free concert for The Roots. I went by myself, which was a first for me, since none of my friends were available, but it was freeing and exciting to do that alone. I met new people and had a lot interesting conversations, laughed and danced with strangers, something I don't think I would've done had I gone with a friend. The vibe in the audience was happy and pulsating, and looking up at the stage as the sun began set is a vision I will never forget.

For Posterity? Phantom Planet, 2008 (one month before they broke up)
For all around awesome? Virgin Fest 2009. Jet, The Bravery, Weezer. When you can't hear the band because the croud is singing so loud, it's a good show.
Best Memory? Cage the Elephant, 2009 X2. Amazing live, and Birthday hugs at midnight from band members is always a good experience.
